In all the years we've been in Minneapolis, crossing paths at the Walker and the Nicolette even though we said hello I never would have guessed. We were sleeping on the same floor in a dirty house in Illinois
With our heads on the same pillow and the same song on our lips

I understand about indecision- I don't care if I get behind. People living in competition, I just want to have a piece of

Your heart! For a very short time until we cross back over Minnesota state lines
And even if we never hang out again we will always have this thing called
Tour Magic.

Tour Magic, it's more than a feeling. And I hope they felt it, if not this song would be embarrassing.

Let's have an impromptu dance, then we'll take a group nap. We will never change clothes we don't give a crap. We'll have the regional candy and the regional beer and we'll stay up late revealing all our hopes and fears.

Short shorts and tank tops the boys of summer get so hot. Short shorts and tank tops, two weeks are just not enough.

Short shorts and tank tops the girls of summer get so hot. Short shorts and tank tops, two months are just not enough!

When we get back we can go on a date, and we'll get married in 2008 and we'll live in a van with two other bands and we'll always be on tour. And we'll have a baby and we'll call it Too Romantic.

Too Romantic, it's more than a feeling. And I hope they felt it, if not this song would be embarrassing.

After you leave in your respective cars, we'll retreat to Milwaukee bars to talk about our lives without constant fun. Back to jobs and obligations but a little bit of magic is still remaining and we've all got that same look in our eyes and one thing on our mind.

It doesn't matter what you say, it doesn't matter what you do. It doesn't matter what you eat, it doesn't matter how you chew.

And it's its g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s to feel so close to you so fast and why oh why can it not last? and in the future when we pass, will we have? And just high five? And someday when we walk right by without looking into each other's eyes we know that in our hearts still lies that magic. tour magic.

It's more than a feeling. And I hope they felt it, if not this song would be embarrassing.
Too Romantic, I've got one-two-three-four-five-six-seven new friends
It would be tragic if this magic doesn't happen again.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
