This next song
Is actually an uptempo song off my new record "I Am"
I love the lyrics so much
I actually wanted to do an acoustic version for you guys
It talks about relationships being so wonderful
Almost too good to be true
You don't know if this is a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare

Every night I rush to my bed
With hopes that maybe I'll get a chance to see you
When I close my eyes, I'm going out of my head
Lost in a fairytale, can you hold my hands and be my guide?

Clouds filled with stars cover the skies
And I hope it rains
You're the perfect lullaby

You can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare
Either way I don't wanna wake up from you (you can be a sweet dream)
Or a beautiful nightmare
Somebody, pinch me, your love's too good to be true
My guilty pleasure, I ain't going nowhere
Baby, 'long as you're here, I'll be floating on air 'cause you're my
You can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare
Either way I don't wanna wake up from you

Wanna wake up from you, you

Tattoo your name across my heart
Tattoo your name across my heart
Not even death can make us part
Not even death can make us part
Tattoo your name across my heart
Tattoo your name across my heart (oh)
Not even death can make us part
What kind of dream is this?

I love you
I love you, I love you

Baby, I love you, you are my life
My happiest moments weren't complete if you weren't by my side (you weren't by my side)
You're my relation in connection to the sun (connection to the sun)
With you next to me there's no darkness I can't overcome (I can't overcome)
You are my raindrops, I am the seed (I am the seed)
With you and God who's the sunlight I bloom and grow so beautifully (grow so beautifully)
Baby, I'm so proud, proud to be your girl (proud to be your girl)
You make the confusion go all away from this cold and mixed-up world

I am in love with you (I'm in love)
You set me free
I can't do this thing called life without you here with me
'Cause I'm dangerously in love with you (dangerously in love)
I'll never leave
Just, just keep lovin' me the way I love you lovin' me, yeah

Every time I see your face my heart smiles
Every time it feels so good it hurts sometimes
Created in this world to love, to hold
To feel, to breathe, to live you

Dangerously in love, yeah (I'm in love)

I can't do this thing
Called life without you here with me (can't do this thing without here with me)
'Cause I'm dangerously in love (holdin' me)
In love (kissin' me, lovin' me)
Keep lovin' me the way I love you lovin' me
Dangerously

Dangerously
I love you
I love you
I love
I love you
I love you
I love
I love, love, love

With all my heart, I love you baby
Stay with me and you will see my arms will hold you, baby
Never leave, 'cause I believe in this in love

Sweet love, hear me callin' out your name
I feel no shame, I'm in love
Sweet love, don't you ever go away
It will always be this way

There's no stronger love in this world (ooh)
Oh, baby, no
You're my man, I'm your girl
I'll never go, wait and see, can't be wrong
Don't you know this is where you belong? Oh

So sweet
So sweet
So sweet oh, oh, love
(Sweet love) oh no, no, no
Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no no, no
(Sweet love) don't nobody know
Just leave me sweetly, baby
Just leave me sweetly, baby
Hey
Don't nobody know

Ooh, ooh
Ooh I am in love with you (I'm in love)
You set me free
I can't do this thing called life without you dangerously in love

Thank you guys

This song is obviously about being in a relationship that is too good to be true. Actually, she said that herself in her performance... =D

    My Interpretation

I think this song is about liking someone so much but yet it cant be quite right, it's saying on one hand that you can be a sweet dream or you can be a beautiful nightmare, from personal experience, I love someone that it just can't be quite right, in my dreams it can sweet or a beauiful nightmare, but yet no matter what we don't want to be without them. but thats my interpretation I could very well be wrong.

i love this song.... definitely about having a crush on someone and being so obsessed with them, hoping you dream abou tthem each night, and cant get enough of them. like she says , you can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare , either way she likes feeling that way about someone so she doesnt really care in the end whether or not it turns out to be real love or just a silly crush.

i think sweet dream means when he's all good and amazing and beautiful nightmare means when he's mean to you but you still like him

    i love this song

I understand that she's singing about her relationship to God instead of a man, you can think deeper about it. God in a way is not purely good as mainstream church make us believe, God can also be a "beautiful nightmare " as she puts it. "Clouds filled with stars cover your skies" isn't God present in all the cosmos? Aren't the skies His? "Not even death can make us apart, she will remain in His presence wherever she goes. It's more than just a common relationship in my opinion.

I think she's inlove because she says Tattoo your name across my heart and it will remain not even death could make us part. But I could be wrong or be right

wow i think people know what beyonce is talking about from their own personal stories! its the feeling when you love someone so much, you just want to go to bed so that you can dream about them. the dream can be sweet because youre with them, but it could also be a nightmare because you wish it was really happening and you dont know if itll come true. but either way, you want to stay in the dream forever :) i love this songgg!

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
