"Doukoku to Sarinu (English)" as written by Dai Ando (pka: Die), Toshimasa Hara (pka: Toshiya), Kaoru Niikura (pka: Kaoru), Shinya Terachi (pka: Shinya) and Hironori Nishimura (pka:kyo)....
Colorless and transparent
Limitless recklessness
How will you fit in?
Forcing M
Compensation for those you can't see

Cries in vain
Go mad
The vague rebellion
Cries in vain
Ways to destroy your ambition
Reborn

Faceless
The voice that's vague, too sweet, and sticky
Every night it increases in my brain and ends up
Filling my mouth
I'm behind you
I know it's desire opening its mouth, but
What do you want?
Your purely existence
I do not want to know

Water flows to your crooked face
The truth swims
Rot away
Without you

Cries in vain
Go mad
The vague rebellion
Cries in vain
Ways to destroy your ambition
Reborn
No saving me
Without not having anyone to blame
I start to go crazy
The blue empty sky and the bite mark
Where the hell is it?
Do you live?

Whose fault is it that I can't trust anymore?
The sun talks skillfully, bringing in the choice
That look good on the outside but are just dead ends
The body absorbs it all
Even mercy stains the unspoken skin
And keeps a secret of those pains that overflow
Rot away
Without you

Cries in vain
Go mad
The vague rebellion
Cries in vain
Ways to destroy your ambition
Reborn
So what if it's fate, destroy it

General CommentI think this song is about how our generation has been raised.

    "Colorless and transparent
    Limitless recklessness
    How will you fit in?
    Forcing M
Compensation for those you can't see"

Parents being apathetic and indifferent to their kids, the youth is instead influenced by their peers. Instead of thinkign for themselves, they conform to each other, focused on fitting in. They have a general attitude of rebellion and recklessness.

    "Cries In Vain
    Go Mad
    The vague rebellion
    Cries In Vain
    Ways To Destroy Your Ambition
    Reborn"

Our generation has an attitude of rebellion against everything in general. Nothing specific, they just want to rebel and cry. They destroy their future by making bad choices in the name of rebelling and fitting in with the crowd.

"Whose fault is it that I can't trust anymore?
The Sun talks skillfully, bringing in choices that look good on the outside but are just dead ends
    The body absorbs it all
Even mercy stains the unspoken skin and keeps a secret of those pains that overflow
    Rot away
    Without you"

Our generation is encouraged by the media and each other to have promiscuous sex, abuse drugs, and steal. These actions seem fun on the outside, but when all is said and done, they are devoid of any real meaning. We carry these actions and their consequences inside us always, rotting.

"Without not having anyone to blame
    I start to go crazy"

As we get older, our apathetic lifestyle catches up with us, but it's too late.

"So what if it's fate, destroy it"

I think this is a message of encouragement to destroy the ill-fated future we've set up for ourselves.

I believe this stanza may have something to do with Stockholm syndrome - whether it would relate to the rest of the song, I've no idea!

But the loss of trust in the first line, and the sweet words of the sun that only appear good? Perhaps this is the sunlight this captive finally sees after being set free.... But only the words of his/her captor are trustworthy or sweet?

I believe the "mercy [which] stains the unspoken skin" is the mercy given the captive from the captor; either through letting this captive go and/or not raping him/her. Perhaps the "unspoken skin" refers to the captive being a virgin? "Unspoken" as a metaphor for skin that cannot speak of having had sex, or "unspoken [for]" skin meaning that no other can say that they have had sex with this captive.

And then of course, this captive rots without the perceived love of his/her captor.

Looking at the song again, maybe the meaning I get from it does apply to the rest of it.

Hopefully I even have the Stockholm Syndrome correct, but I don't know all the details.

And wow I've written a lot, but I love these guys, and their songs are cryptic as hell but have all sorts of bits of meaning all over the place.
