"Forever and Always" as written by and Taylor Swift....
Once upon a time, I believe it was a Tuesday when I caught your eye
And we caught onto something
I hold onto the night, you looked me in the eye and told me you loved me

Were you just kidding?
'Cause it seems to me, this thing is breaking down
We almost never speak
I don't feel welcome anymore
Baby what happened? Please tell me

'Cause one second it was perfect, now you're halfway out the door

And I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called
And then you feel so low you cant feel nothing at all
And you flashback to when he said forever and always
Oh, and it rains in your bedroom
Everything is wrong
It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone
'Cause I was there when you said forever and always

Was I out of line?
Did I say something way too honest, made you run and hide
Like a scared little boy
I looked into your eyes
Thought I knew you for a minute, now I'm not so sure

So here's to everything coming down to nothing
Here's to silence, that cuts me to the core
Where is this going? Thought I knew for a minute, but I don't anymore

You didn't mean it baby, I don't think so

Oh back up, baby, back up
Did you forget everything?
Back up, baby, back up
Did you forget everything?

'Cause it rains in your bedroom
Everything is wrong
It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone
'Cause I was there when you said forever and always

Oh, I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called
And then you feel so low you cant feel nothing at all
And you flashback to when we said forever and always

And it rains in your bedroom
Everything is wrong
It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone
'Cause I was there when you said forever and always
You didn't mean it baby,
You said forever and always, yeah.

General CommentThis song IS about Joe Jonas, and I don't think it's right for Jonas Brothers fans to think badly of Taylor Swift because she vented her feelings into a song when HE messed up. Maybe something did happen, or they're just not meant to be together, but if so, it was just wrong of him to break up over the phone. I know its hard to break up with someone, but he should have had the courtesy to end their relationship in person.
For the people who think it was immature of her to write a song about this, try to remember how it feels when someone does this to you! It's hurtful and the feeling doesn't just go away. She could have done very unclassy things like calling him names, accusing him of awful things, and even using his name or a picture, but she didn't. Taylor writes songs to get her feelings out and clear her mind like some people write poetry or stories.
This, in my opinion, is a great song. Alot of people can relate to it and you can tell it was a very emotional song for Taylor. Good job. :)

General CommentThis is definately my favorite Taylor Swift song of all time.
To me I think she's trying to say that she met this guy and it was love at first sight, he saud he was gonna be with her "forever and always" but then they started kind of drifting apart from each other and he doesn't call her back anymore, and it's breaking her heart beacuse obviously she still has feelings for him.

(btw rumor has it she wrote this song about Joe Jonas)

General Commenthopelesslyamazing, any guy who does that is not worth your time. Friends don't fight over the same guy. Whether you are at fault, she is, or both of you, a friendship isn't about competing for a guy. Guys are never worth a frienship, but if you are both willing to risk it all for a guy, then you guys really aren't that great of friends anyways. I don't think you love him. I don't know you, so I could be wrong, but I think Taylor Swift's song, Fifteen might fit you pretty well right now. Love isn't selfish, and Jake seems to be acting selfishly. What you should do is forget about him. Feel your feelings for a little bit, and then get up and do something to prove to yourself how wonderful you are. Forgive your "friend" and find some new ones who won't hurt you.

I think it's just about how when a relationship is fading, and you can feel the breakup coming. You want to be in denial about it, but it cuts you to the core.

"Was I out of line did I say something way too honest
That made you run and hide like a scared little boy"
It makes me think she was really honest about their relationship, and he was intimidated by it. He wanted a girl who is quiet and passive and not so outspoken.

General Commentokay im probably going to get KILLED for saying this but im going to anyways:)

well i think joe and taylor were both wrong in what they did. joe was wrong for writing "much better" and saying pretty much that she wasnt a good girlfriend. but taylor was wrong to be all like "yeah i when im in love when im older im never going to remember the guy who broke up with me on the phone in 27 seconds." it wasnt right for him to break up with her like that but he was in asia or something and it wasnt right for her to PUBLICLY diss him like she did. i love them both but i thought that was a STUPID BREAKUP!!!

about the song itself, it a BEAUTIFUL SONG! i love it! its so pretty. especially "it rains in your bedroom everything is wrong. it rains when your here and it rains when your gone". its just says to almost every boy out there that listens to this song that when they're gone, almost everything is wrong in girls' eyes

    idk thats just my opinon.

General Commentyeah they're right ( ^^ ) its about breaking up because the guy created distance and never called and she remembered a time when he said "forever and always" *cough cough* JOEJONAS27SECONDBREAKUP *cough cough*

    but i had a question
"And it rains in your bedroom everything is wrong"
im not sure what this means but i feel like it means that she wanted to do something but he couldnt b/c of his morals or it meant that he doesnt live up to this morals and he is doing stuff (kinda like shes hinting that he doesnt live up to the pledge) haha idk..anyone agree or see anohter meaning or think it doesnt mean anything?

General Commentwhat a waste of taylor's talent to write a song about joe. she didn't need to say it aloud. that kinda ruins it since now all I'll be thinking about is him breaking up with her "on the phone in 27 seconds". on ellen she said that had to be a record. not true. some guys TEXT break up. pssshh. joe is quite the classy gentleman isn't he? maybe girls will think twice about dating him. but seriously? nick is not only way cuter, but also younger and tasteful enough to break up in person. I guess she was serious when she said she writes songs about ALL guys she's in contact with.

ugh. I would like this song more if it weren't associated with a specific someone that I hear about all the time anyways.

General Commenthonestly, who cares who the song is about? i don't care if it's about joe jonas or santa claus, it's a legit song that is really relatable, at least to a lot of girls. it's just about some guy (yes, specifically joe jonas) who told her he really lvoed her and then decided he didn't anymore but she still does and can't figure out what changed his mind. i love this song though.

but on topic of the other posts, in my opinion, both parties are in the wrong. it was wrong of him to break up over the phone, that's cowardly. he could have waited until they could be face to face. i would probably hang up on the jerk too (oh, wait i did! by the way, 27 seconds beats my record of 43). but she's being childish about it. as a person in the public eye who dated another celebrity, i expected her to react with more class, not be all salty about it on tv and in magazines.

    General CommentI can totally relate.
My ex told me he loved me, that he'd always be there for me. Well, fuck that shit.
He dumped me for my best friend three weeks later.
    Especially the,
    It rains in your bedroom
    Everything is wrong
It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone

For weeks I could tell something was going wrong, but I didn't say anything because I thought there was a chance it could work out.
For all those weeks I felt "so low I couldn't feel nothing at all."

This song says EXACTLY how it made me feel.

    Love Taylor Swift:)

    General CommentI love Taylor Swifttttt(:
    This song is so amazing.
Taylor wrote this about Joe Jonas & even if she didn't say that in an interview you would know because it says,

"You looked me in the eye and told me you loved me."

as in Jonas Brothers song, "When you look me in the eyes, and tell me that you love me."
then Joe came back with the words,

"Got a rep for breaking hearts,
Now I'm done with super stars,
and all the tears on her guitar."

    It all makes sense now(:
