I feel so unsure
As I take your hand and lead you to the dance floor
As the music dies, something in your eyes
Calls to mind the silver screen
And all its sad good-byes

I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
(You know I ain't a fool girl)
Should've known better than to cheat a friend
And waste the chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you

Time can never mend
The careless whispers of a good friend
To the heart and mind
Ignorance is kind
There's no comfort in the truth
Pain is all you'll feel

I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
(You know I ain't a fool girl)
Should've known better than to cheat a friend
And waste the chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you

Slow down
You know you're moving too fast
You know that I don't dance
But you insist you take my hand
And to the beat that move our feet
And everyone is watching me
And I don't dance no more.
And now I'm leaving my apartment
Til' its after evening
Bars are closing down
And every model in the pool halls drinking
I turn the juke box on to play my favorite song
Where we song along
I don't dance no more

Tonight the music seems so loud
I wish that we could lose this crowd
Maybe it's better this way
We'd hurt each other with the things we'd want to say
We could have been so good together
We could have lived this dance forever
But now who's gonna dance with me?
Please stay.

I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
(You know I ain't a fool girl)
Should've known better than to cheat a friend
And waste the chance that I've been given
So I'm never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you
Now that you're gone
(To Pretend)
(You know I ain't a fool girl)
Now that you're gone
Now that you're gone
(To Pretend)
(You know I ain't a fool girl)
Now that you're gone

Haterz... People always tend to hate girls when there with there Manwhore. Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato, Juliet Simms and Alex Gaskarth. Too different worlds and yet it always ends up in the same thing. Jelousy.

Now in general its very Poppy. I would get it if i didn't have to go through less than legal means to get it (and if i were to do that i rather get real All Time Low old songs first. Though it did prove to me i would love Alex Gaskarth wether he was in a boyband, rap, metal, country, or any other genre or type of music.

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.
