For what it's worth, it's just not worth it
Save it for somebody who truly deserves it
Surely this all can't be real
These clones that can't even feel
Ascend their ladders with ease; so effortlessly

I- I'm just trying to get out this time
Know what I'm talking about
Cause I heard the same thing a thousand times
Everyday

I fell in love the first time I heard it
I wanted part of it, I thought it was perfect
And then the swarm came along
Taught everybody the song
Their numbers blocked out the sun
What have we done

I- I'm just trying to get out this time
Know what I'm talking about
Cause I heard the same thing a thousand times
Everyday

If this is who I should be now, I don't want any more
I don't want any more of it
If this is who I should be now, I don't want any more
I don't want any more of it

So you think that you're the next big thing?

I- I'm just trying to get out this time
Know what I'm talking about
Cause I heard the same thing a thousand times
Everyday

I fell in love the first time I heard it
I wanted part of it, I thought it was perfect
And then the swarm came along, taught everybody the song
Their numbers blocked out the sun
What have you done?

    My Interpretation

Bascially this song is about the music scene and the direction it has gone in. They are first mentioning that fame should be saved for someone who truely deserves it. refering clones to people who arnt real or true to thei music.(just copy cats) when he would first hear new music with unique style and potential he would fall in love with it. But then the "sworm came along" "taught everybody their song" and their numbers blocked out the sun. endless amounts of bands just started taking over someones style but not in a good way they didnt make it their own they would make it just like the origanl band. So in conclusion he is saying that if this who he should be now or be catorgized as then he doesnt want anymore of it.

this is just what i got from the song?? or it could just be another typical song about a man whore..lolz

Nah Rica, you're right. That's SO what it's about. No man whore-ing about it. I think what you said is perfect.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
