I'm creeping my way out so you can see me
I'm crawling my way around a thousand cities
You all stop and stare
I don't need your pity
I'm living my life in this hell.

Now I'm crawling away 'cause the stress has killed me
I feel like i fell from a ten story building
you best run and hide before the devil starts her bidding
I'm living my life in this hell

I'm not one for the crowd to see
It's just me
It's just-

Just a little more, c'mon and satisfy me.
Just a little more, c'mon lets terrify me
Just a little more and I'll be done with it
Take my life and then I'll feel okay

Cut it out of my mouth
put my tongue on the pole
I won't sing anymore
I'm losing control
Cut it out of my mouth
Put my tongue on a pole
Take the air from my lungs
Take the heart from my soul

I'm not one for the crowd to see
It's just me
It's just

Just a little more, c'mon and satisfy me.
Just a little more, c'mon lets terrify me
Just a little more and I'll be done with it
Take my life and then I'll feel okay

Okay.
I'll feel okay.
Okay!

Cut it out of my mouth
put my tongue on a pole
I don't sing anymore
I'm losing control
I won't song anymore

I'm creeping my way out so you can see me
I'm crawling my way around a thousand cities
You all stop and stare
I don't need your pity
I'm living my life in this hell.

Just a little more, c'mon and satisfy me.
Just a little more c'mon now terrify,
Just a little more and I'll be done with it
Take my life and then I'll feel
Take my life and then I'll feel
Take my life and then I'll feel
Okay!

"Oh, Oh God. I must have passed out."
"Dude"
"I woke up and I'd passed out"
"You just did"

uhm, .. no fucking thank YOU, thrwmyhrtawy.

this is an awesome song.. it goes to show that theyre not the same as every other post-hardcore band.. they have variety, which is a good thing..

i reckon this could possibly be about ..

how they constantly have to do the same shows over and over again, ''I'm creeping my way out so you can see me I'm crawling my way around a thousand cities''

and how the living conditions are really terrible [constant bad food, bad sleeping patterns, hangovers,etc..], ''I'm living my life in this hell.

Now I'm crawling away 'cause the stress has killed me I feel like I fell from a ten story building''

''cut it out of my mouth, put my tongue on a pole'' could refer to how he [Craig] is constantly, singing the same [awesome] things over and over again..

''Take the air from my lungs, take my heart from my soul.'', discusses how tiring performing is when constantly done day after day after day...

anyway, thats my take on it..

Alot of incorrect lyrics here. The top first set of lyrics are incorrect while the second are correct.

The best way to before the devil starts her bidding You best try and hide before the devil starts her bidding

Coming out of my mouth from my tongue on the floor Cut it out of my mouth, put my tongue on a pole

Tears at the sound? ??? Cut my tears of the sound The erosion of my soul

I have a weird feeling that it could be about being in the circus? Wouldn't it make sense, with the way the music sounds and what it's saying?

"I'm crawling my way around a thousand cities." May be about a traveling circus.

I honestly don't know why they would write a song about being in one, but ya never know.

He has no legs, no wheels, no other mode of transportation other than himself and cant do handstands.

No seriously, i think its about getting fuckin trashed on tour. If you listen to whats said at the end of the song, when the music cuts off. He's puking a little bit and he says "Oh My God dude, im bouta pass out, i want you to pass out." or somethin like that and the other guy says either "Understood" or "Then its good" then he says in response "I fuckin like it" i think thats what he says, and the other guy says" Its just not my, flavor."

It gives me a vibe of a really crazy night where you just popped, ate, or smoked somethin crazy and your going nuts.

    Pretty fun song actually.

I love this song. I don't really know what it means but I'm kinda leaning towards stev0xtrem0's idea. cuz at the end of the song when they're talking they're saying how the feel like they're gonna pass out or something. but who knows thats just what I think

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
