"A Perfect Tourniquet" as written by and Nathan R Young Christian E Mcalhaney....
I'm not sure if you can call this romance,
You see, we changed since the start
Even together, we're distant, lonely and apart.
But we both look the other way,
Pretend we still believe it when they say...

And I guess that's why they call this love,
Sadly unpredictable.
And I guess that's why they call this love,
Fading, fatal.

My heart doesn't beat as fast as it once did
I would sever these ties, but you're the perfect tourniquet
Tell me darling, should we look the other way
When they say...

And I guess this is why they call this love
Sadly unpredictable
And I guess this is why they call this love
Fading, fatal.

It's getting hard to stay, but even harder to let go
Tell me now darling, is this how we thought, not what's meant to go?
Viva, viva communique
Donde, donde este, adonde se fue?

And I guess that's why they call this love,
Sadly unpredictable
And I guess that's why they call this love
Fading, fatal.

And I guess that's why they call it love...
And I guess that's why they call it love...
Fading, fatal.

And I guess that's why they call this love
Sadly unpredictable
And I guess that's why they call this love
Fading, fatal.

General Commentawesome song, pretty straight foward, bout two people in a releationship that has lost its "fire". they don't break up, maybe out of habit, maybe for the kids... i think this is true for many kinds of relationships...

i hate how they didn't but those "b-sides" on the actual record. no reason to put them on 3 different versions of the album...

General Commentthis song is so incredible. the tempo of the song seems so upbeat and the chorus can make you have a misunderstanding of the song "and i guess this is why they call it love". but the song is anything but happy and pleasant.

the lyrics are amazing. im very shocked this somehow didnt make it to the cd. any if anyone wants to hear ths song just type in "anberlin - b sides" on youtube and you can check it out!

General CommentI guess it didn't make the CD because they only had room for 12 tracks. Still, maybe make them available when you buy the CD and then stick it in your computer to Download. I HATE that I can't get these songs. Anybody know how to get this one? Is it playing anywhere better than Youtube? I don't like the sound quality there much.

General CommentI'm 100% sure he says: And I guess that's why they call this love
And in the spanish part, he says this ( Spanish is my main language,i'm pretty sure this is what he says )
Dónde? Dónde estará ? Dónde se fue ?
[ Donde ? Donde estara? Donde se fue? ] (if characters appear as question marks)

In English : Where? Where would it be ? Where did it go ?

    Awesome song.

General Commenti'm pretty sure that this was written for a tv show or movie like last year or something. Thats why it wasn't on the album.
