Nothing's to be done
I'm about to go
Cause I've got a ticket to be on your show
There's chances to be taken if you want it made
Fences you can climb if it makes your day
But you wont's see me try cause it's not my style
I'm the boy in town you'll never hear about
They say they knocked me down I had not come up
But I'm not on the floor I was up on five
This is where I'm staying this is where I'm at
It's not much but it's mine at least
So take a tip from me don't go to the park
It won't be coming out from the dark
Where I am it's not that cool
But I don't want to hang around your swimming pool
Where boys will be boys and girls will be girls
I has hoping for a different world
I ease my feet and I'll take my seeds
Driving down the street where there's nothing to see
So kiss me once and kiss and thell
I don't want to hide cause that life is hell

Discos suck
But you dance dance til you're out of luck

Now you're taking speed at the speed of light
Having all the things that comes in your sight
So steal my love and take my car
Try to run but you won't get far
No I don't know what you mean
That is not my cup of tea
So take me up and bring me down
Leave me still with another frown

Discos suck
But you dance dance til you're out of luck

I left some people I left my crowd
The kids at the club can't drag me down
I'd rather speak about love and war
You'll never see me on a dance floor
So if you come around you better duck
Cause I don't wanto to go where the music sucks
Yeah, if I come around you're out of luck
Cause legends' man he's crazy as fuck

Discos suck
But you dance dance til you're out of luck

It's totally Discos Suck but here's the problem: It's listed as "Discos Suck" in the CD liner notes, that's how it's written in the liner note lyrics, that's what's listed on the label's website (labrador.se), and that's clearly what he says in the song. Also, Amazon has it listed this way.

BUT it's "Disco Sucks" on the back of the CD, and when you import the song into your computer from the CD, and iTunes has it listed this way.

I'm going to have to assume that all the confusion came from one typo on the back of the CD. It has to be "Discos Suck" considering that's what he says, and that's what he's listed in the lyrics. Plus, a disco is a dance club, so "Discos Suck" is the only thing that would make sense in this song.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
