I know your face, I know your smile and how it plays
Into the minds of those who cling to every word you say.
This isn't how I wanted to remember me and you.

Your eyes are talking but your lips are standing still.
Open your mouth, tell me how I'm supposed to feel.
My finger pointing is just a warning so I suggest you...
Say you're wrong,
Lets get this over I would like to get some sleep tonight

Lets get this over, I'd like to get some sleep tonight,
Lets get this over. I'm done with all your lies.

You make it hard for me to leave, so very hard for me to leave.

By now the lies you told are weighing on your chest,
If I provide the rope I know you'll do the rest.
But I will not be an accessory, no I'm not who you think and I
Will never be your enemy so don't insult me.

Say you're wrong,
This could be easier if I was over her,
So say you're wrong. (Say you're wrong)
I know she's just a girl but she's got me standing on the edge,
I'm on the edge of the world.

My eyes are open for the first time,
This planks not yours, it's in my own eye.
My eyes are open for the first time,
This planks not yours, it's in my own eye.

I am not a man who a life as soilders, but
I am not the kind of man who walks away.
I will stand face to face and toe to toe with anyone,
Yes anyone.
Everything you said about me was the truth but I just don't think that I can look at you the same.
You're like a splinter that will never show its head to anyone, to anyone.
Now I know that I was not the man you wanted,
You know I loved you and I wanted to make you proud.
My intentions were to never give myself to anyone,
Look what I've done.

Just look what I've done.

My intentions were to never give myself to anyone,
Look what I've done.

this song seems pretty straight forward.

basically its about a guy who is having a hard time quitting a girl and shes very deceptive. shes always lying to him and he knows it but its still hard to leave.

"I know your face, I know your smile and how it plays Into the minds of those who cling to every word you say"

"By now the lies you told are weighing on your chest If I provide the rope I know you'll do the rest"

in this line hes talking about how shes realizing that shes going to lose him and that he's wiseing up to her crap. the second line is the guy saying "i know ur lying and if i bait her i can catch her in her lie"

"My eyes are open for the first time " This is him waking up to her lies

"I am not a man who lives a life of soldiers I am not the kind of man who walks away" i think this is him still unsure about whether to leave or not. he doesnt live the life of a soldier (a soldier would stand up and fight) but he isnt the kind of man to walk away either

"My intentions were to never give myself to anyone, look what I've done" i dont necessarily think this line means he is going to stay with the girl but i just think its him realizing how emotionally drained he is and how much he has given to this girl.

"My finger pointing's just a warning so I suggest you say you're wrong."

Swear to God when I first heard this song I thought he was saying, "You're just so horny, yes, so horny."

    the basic message, i guess, is; "i made a huge mistake / you're a b*tch." :) i love the breakdown, damn it.

and also, when he says "my intentions were to never give myself to anyone, look what i've done", it seems to me more like he's saying he gave it up for her because he loved her, but it's not Christian to have sex before marriage.

that's what i get from it, since i feel the same way. it kinda sounds really emotional near the end, especially with the sort of yelling...it always seems like he feels a lot of guilt about it. :/

Wow wow wow I like how people put up their interpretations of this song and many of the others, would any of you by any chance might know a song by them that they sing about how a girl just played a guy and doesnt feel any regret of it?, Yea i know sad right? but that would be pretty cool if someone could tell me.

Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
