"The Mummy" as written by and Benji Hughes Gus Seyffert....
The committee, they asked me to be the one to pick the band to play the prom
I said I wanted Frankenstein
They said that Frankenstein was not a band
Could you get Dracula?
Whatever you do, don't get the mummy

Don't get the mummy, when the mummy gets drunk he unravels (x3)
Don't get the mummy... drunk

I'm in The Baby, it's my favorite band
I got their DVD, I've watched it 50 times
You love me, baby
I'm more alternative than Suicide Girls
I got something in my pocket
Eagles tickets, front row
Joe Walsh, go!

Don't get the mummy, when the mummy gets drunk he unravels (x3)
Don't get the mummy... drunk

Don't get the mummy
Don't get the mummy drunk
Don't get the mummy drunk
Don't get him drunk
Don't get the mummy drunk
Don't get the mummy drunk

General CommentI think the line "I'm in The Baby" should be "I'm into Pavement". Pavement actually is/was a alternative band, with a DVD ("Slow Century") so the next few lines make sense too.
