"Country Boy" as written by and Alan Eugene Jackson....
Excuse me ma'am, I saw you walkin'
I turned around, I'm not a stalker
Where you going? Maybe I can help you
My tank is full, I'd be obliged to take you

'Cause I'm a country boy, I've got a four-wheel drive
Climb in my bed, I'll take you for a ride
Up city streets, down country roads
I can get you where you need to go
'Cause I'm a country boy

You sure look good, sittin' in my right seat
Buckle up, and I'll take you through the five speeds
Wind it up, or I can slow it way down
In the woods or right uptown
I'm a country boy, I've got a four-wheel drive
Climb in my bed, I'll take you for a ride
Up city streets, down country roads
I can get you where you need to go
'Cause I'm a country boy

Big 35's whinin' on the asphalt
Grabbin' mud, and slingin' up some red dirt
'Cause I'm a country boy

My muffler's loud, dual thrush tubes
I crank the music, the tone gets real good
Let me know when we're gettin' close
You can slide on out, or we can head on down the road

'Cause I'm a country boy, I've got a four-wheel drive
Climb in my bed, I'll take you for a ride
Up city streets, down country roads
I can get you where you want to go
'Cause I'm a country boy

Bucket seats, soft as baby's new butt
Lockin' hubs, that'll take you through a deep rut

'Cause I'm a country boy, I've got a four-wheel drive
Climb in my bed, I'll take you for a ride
Up city streets, down winding roads
I can get you where you need to go
'Cause I'm a country boy

Yeah

Yeah I'm a country boy, I've got a four-wheel drive
Climb in my bed, I'll take you for a ride
Up city streets, down country roads
I can get you where you want to go
'Cause I'm a country boy
Yeah, I'm a country boy,
Oh, I'm just a country boy,
A nice little country boy.

My OpinionWell, it's pretty obvious what this song is about... just about what it's like to be a "country boy", polite and such, helping people get around and stuff. However, whenever I hear it on the radio I always feel like it's a dirty song... "Climb in my bed, I'll take you for a ride... I can take you where you want to go... Buckle up, I'll take you through the five speeds." Eh?

General CommentYeah although it sounds dirty people think to into it.. He really is just trying to say that we country people aren't jerks and we care and we notice those around us

My InterpretationAnd just to add the obvious, he is also saying that county people are more utilitarian then people from other areas. They "get things done," so to speak.

General Commentfirst off, its not a dirty song. so just grow up, there are by-far more dirty songs on the radio and this song is made by a country boy for country boys. The whole song is about a truck, not nessarly (2:30am) his truck but how every coubtry boy owns a lifted truck with huge mud tires and custom engines and exhausts. And how do i know this you ask cause i have a truck just like the song refers to but better of course
so its not dirty you want dirty listen to nickelbacks new cd
