"Without You" as written by Brian Howes, Austin Winkler and Ross Hanson....
I just wanna be alone tonight
I just wanna take a little breather
Cause lately all we do is fight
And every time it cuts me deeper

Cause something's changed
You've been acting so strange
And its taking its toll on me
Its safe to say that I'm ready to let you leave

Without you, I live it up a little more everyday
Without you, I'm seeing myself so differently
I didn't wanna believe it then
But it all worked out in the end
When I watched you walk away
Well I never thought id say
I'm fine
Without you

Called you up cause it's been long enough
And you said that you were so much better
We have done a lot of growing up
We were never meant to be together

Cause something changed, you were acting so strange
And it's taken its toll on me
It's safe to say that I'm ready to let you leave

Without you, I live it up a little more everyday
Without you, I'm seeing myself so differently
I didn't wanna believe it then
But it all worked out in the end
When I watched you walk away
Well I never thought id say
I'm fine
Without you

Cause something changed, you were acting so strange
And it's taken its toll on me
It's safe to say that I'm ready to let you leave

Without you, I live it up a little more everyday
Without you, I'm seeing myself so differently
I didn't wanna believe it then
But it all worked out in the end
When I watched you walk away
Well I never thought id say
I'm fine
Without you

Without you
Without you
Without you
I just wanna be alone tonight,
I just wanna take a little breather.

General CommentI was engaged to the love of my life for many months, when things began to turn bad. Suddenly, he needed "time, space, a breather". It felt as if I would die, and I honestly believed I'd never get over him. But, I discovered strength within myself I never knew I had, and I moved on to a better, happier life. 6 months later, he called, basically begging me back. He'd discovered the grass was not greener, as he'd thought it would be. He was not "doing fine". But I was a different person, and had long come to realize the relationship had not been good for me. This song really hits home in that situation.

MemoryWell this song reminds me of my first love. She dated me and said she loved me, but all we did was fight over pathetic shit that she did. We broke up 16+ times. And now I came to realise that it was all for the best that nothing worked out as what I wanted. And now I'm fine with not having her in my life. But the scars still remain. Too bad this song wasn't out 2 years ago.

    My Interpretation

Rated 0 I definitely agree with bneen2hellnback. I just watched the video and it basically shows that at first the girl is the one that's torn and upset in the beginning while the guy seems fine but then it turns 180 and she goes on with her life in such a positive way and now he's a mess. She realizes she's okay without him but it almost seems that he wish he could go back and make things right. Sorry boys...she's just better off without you

General CommentI always think of a failed friendship. Maybe a relationship as in boyfriend and girlfriend. But to me I think of my friend.

General CommentI thought of the friendship aspect as well. But, there's one main thing that makes me think that it is about a romantic relationship...
"We were never meant to be together"

Not sure. But, I do know that it's an awesome song.

General CommentSuch a good song. It's pretty clear with it's meaning, but to mean its about a relationship that just didin't work out. He's ready to tell this girl that they have to end it. He then realizes how much he was missing out of when he was with her, and knows that he is better off without her. I don't think this song necessarily means that he hates this girl, i think they are both fine without eachother. so its a pretty great song :]
