@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday".
I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

I thought the original was beautiful but this.... This brings a whole new meaning to it. I love this song.
This version, in my opinion, is better than the original. Mostly because of how the acoustic guitars play off of Kyo's voice, adding a touch of romance & sorrow at the same time. When I here this song, a story visualizes in my head. A tragic love story of two people who want to be together, who want to love eachother. But can't because of the differences in their lives(The two of us, with our backs turned against each other, don't have a place to call our own)they shun eachother (I won't leave you I don't want to leave you But your words strike deep into my heart, see?) and in time forget eachother(But your footsteps are getting erased by the waves, one after the other...Time passes by, along with the seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter...)In the end, after so many years though, they find eachother again(Once we met Once we separated and then I met you)and embrace their love again
What i love most about this version, is how pure everything is. The guys didnt have to use to much mastering and mixing, it sounds so raw and organic. For example, Shinya's drums sound so pure, like he only used a few microphones to record this song, you can especially tell by how his bass drum has that nice "thump" instead of the "click".
I start to tear up right when Kyo gets to the verse before the guitar breakdown, and shinya's cymbal work here is awesome.

"I shout in these times of uncertainty, but the future is too far away it almost kills me. My tears and even the meaning of my emotions disappear into the past along with the sun" is actually the only new verse added in the lyrics. All the rest is the same but this translation kind of almost makes it seem like the lyrics were changed alltogether. Anyways, I absolutely love the live version of this but I still think I prefer the original
