Weekends on Young & Angry Street,
we'd meet, drink 'til trouble found us there,
living life as without a care (without a care).
We've had our fights, been black and blue,
it's true.
I've even gone to jail for you, my friends.
Bet your life that I'd do it again.

Until the end...

Don't change the way you think of me,
we're from the same story.
Life moves on, can't stay the same,
but some of us...some worry.

While some have gone their separate ways,
there's some still caught up with the past instead.
But move on, you're missing most of your life.
They say it's hard to stay the same,
when some fail, while other men seem to gain, but friends, I'll be with you here until the end.

Until the end...

Don't change the way you think of me,
we're from the same story.
Life moves on, can't stay the same,
but some of us...some worry.

We're all falling forward,
with no signs of slow.
And some moving faster,
But that's all that I wanted, I wanted.

You know it's hard,
it's passing by;
memories,
be out all night.
To reminisce wont bring you back, just look ahead and hold on tight.

We're all falling forward,
with no signs of slow.
And some moving faster,
But that's all that I wanted, I wanted.

Don't change the way you think of me, oh yeah.

Until the end...
Until the end...
Until the end...

General Commentgod i love this song. im surprised it didnt make the cut for the real CD.

but i would say that its just about life and how your friends will be there for you through thick and thin.

General Commentadding to that. just how friendships break apart and no matter how much you want to stay friends with someone. things happen and they get torn apart and others just move on in life. and how they will think back and wish for the old days and theyre wasting their life by doing so.

General CommentThis song is pretty cool, although this song is very different to avenged's usual song lyrics I believe it has meaning that relates to a lot of people.
To me this song means a lot. I am a Freshman in college, and I havent seen many of my best friends from home. I know I have changed, and I know many of my friends have changed and will change but in the end we still share the same story and despite our new found differences we still have common memories and we will always have a relationship even if I never see a friend ever again. In a song by nas he says "a thug changes and love changes and best friends become strangers". this song says yeah people change but there is still something between friends "until the end"...

General CommentWhen I first read these lyrics, I found it kind of cheesy, but after hearing it... Oh my god. I LOVE the way Matt sings it. It kind of reminds me of IWSYTpt1 on WTF... the singing style. It reminds me of how much I love this band.

I agree with the previous statements about the friendship meaning, but in a way I interpret it to be Avenged speaking to their fans. With them changing up their style so much the past couple CDs, and so called "fans" hating them just because they've gotten bigger. It almost seems like they're talking about how they've changed as a band, but that they're still just as dedicated/loyal to their fanbase as they were in the beginning.

It's probably not about that, but it's one way to look at it.

General CommentTo be honest, I think it's more of a dedication song to the band, if you think about it. Talking about all the shit they've been through as friends and as a band, and how they'll always stay friends, no matter what may happen in the future.

General Commentfriends will always be there for you. but sometimes its necessary to leave said friends to move on with life. sure, there will always be the memories, but don't look back and regret moving on. because true friends want you do have a good life. and they will support that.
