The one I love is lost without the least bit of explanation
Just goes to show the futility of self preservation
All I seem to see is this warrin' goin' on amongst our nations
What good will it do

Everybody wants to know the secrets to our salvation
Forever reading on and on from genesis to revelation
Never stopping for a second to examine situations
After all that we've been through

Will it only end when there's nothing left to defend?
Will we ever seen the common bond of humanity?

A ghetto landscape of famine and also of frustration
With children walkin' round without the proper means to education
Still, up there on capitol hill, they're passing all this legislation
For jails and bombs

Is there anybody out there
Hear my prayer
Anybody out there
Hear my prayer
Anybody out there
Hear my prayer
We need all-a-ya'll back down here
We need all-a-ya'll back down here
We need all-a-ya'll back down here

General CommentThis song is very political. I agree, what the hell are our Representatives doing to really help the people? Dems & Repubs suck. Help the working people in this country or there will be no country. When I say help the working people I mean enforce our immigration laws and ease the tax burden on the middle class. I think it's too late. Any how Amos is Awesome.
