I've got more important things than shiny diamond rings and modern furniture
Life before aesthetics was a nail in a wall, a borrowed comforter
But now I wait until the sound, like I never drowned in my addition
I would never say what's right, wakes me through the night, I felt it happen

It crossed my heart
When did all this start
Stand together, fall apart
And crossed my heart

I was laying in the light, the wrong side of the night, I wanted you to know
Life before aesthetics is a mindset to impart, a way of letting go
Still I waste the chance to give, like I couldn't live throughout ________
I would never say what's right wakes me through the night, I felt it happen

It crossed my heart
When did all this start
Stand together, fall apart
And crossed my heart

All these people can't be wrong
I wanna sing along, I wanna sing along
All these people can't be wrong
I wanna sing along, I wanna sing along

General CommentI've got more important things than shiny diamond rings and modern furniture.
Life before aesthetics was a nail hole in a wall. A borrowed comforter.
Now I wait until the sound as if I never drowned in my addition
I'm not saying that it's right, but waking through the night I felt it coming.

    And it crossed my heart
    When did all this start?
    Stand together, fall apart.
    And it crossed my heart

Hear the oceans as they sing.
The mountains and the spring and all it means to me.
Life before aesthetics is a mindset that imparts impossibilities.
Still I waste the chance to give as if I've never lived throughout ______
I'm not telling you it's right
But waking through the night, I felt it happen

    And it crossed my heart
    When did all this start?
    Fall together, stand apart.
    And it crossed my heart.

General CommentI think this song is about when life wasn't so filled with us trying to be fashionable and always needing things to be beautiful to us. However, he finds beauty in nature, which is so timeless, and ultimately admits that it was inevitable that aesthetics came into being.
