"Oh, La" as written by Wes Miles, Alexandra Nicole Lawn, Mathieu Jordan Santos, Milo A Bonacci and Rebecca Alexandra Zeller....
Say a word that's quiet, not half the way there
Somedays our future...it seems to hang on so tight
"Come quickly now the air hangs heavily today"
"Oh no, but what is that crimson in the shade?"

Oh la we've got a lot to learn from each other,
We've got to stick together.
Oh la we've got a lot to learn from each other,
We've got to stick together.

I wouldn't say the word now but this is not what I meant,
For a woman that's fallen over head and ears
And still so warm, but I'm lonely too,
Suddenly she is still and says, "I hope that things will be better here."

Oh la we've got a lot to learn from each other,
We've got to stick together.
Oh la we've got a lot to learn from each other,
We've got to stick together.

General CommentIt's got a bit of desperation to it, but it's still a really uplifting song. "We have got to stick together." I love it :) Probably my favorite song of theirs.

General CommentI always heard this song as a story about a couple or friends who suffer some kind of tragedy, the 'crimson in the shade' and the song is about how they try to get by, they move to a different town where they hope 'things will be better' as long as they depend so much on each other. In my head I also always saw this song (even though it was probably written before the death of the drummer) as partly a rallying call about the band, they have to stick together as a band to get over the tragedy they've gone through.

General CommentDid anyone think upon first listening and not looking at the lyrics that Oh La sounded a lot like Oh Love? With that coloring in mind it sort of changes how the song can be interpreted. Although I realize that the group of friends interpretation is probably way more spot on. The way I took it was one lover sort of making a plea to the other one not to give up on the relationship that there was still so much to learned more experiences to be had, and that even if the whole world is sort of coming down against them if they stick together they'll learn and grow together?
