"Too Too Too Fast" as written by Wes Miles, Alexandra Nicole Lawn, Mathieu Jordan Santos, Milo A Bonacci and Rebecca Alexandra Zeller....
We have forgotten so much since then
The scent of her breath again
Or maybe it's the way that we felt on the phone
Stop looking up to pretend
Everything is still there

We have forgotten so much since then
The scent of her breath again
Or maybe it's the way that we felt on the phone
Stop looking up
Pretending this is not
Bit it might've come from
The time of our love?

She just said it's cruel
I only care about the things that you don't

Anything that's right, we had much more
Anything worth losing, pleasing you

When I look in your eyes
(Too too too fast)
What am I supposed to do?
When I look in your eyes
When I look in your eyes

We have forgotten so much since then
The other slight on my hand
Is it the tone we defend on the phone???
Stop lookin up
But still I had thought
But they couldn't tell
The way or a change???
The way that we are
I can't tell if I'm asleep or awake

Anything that's right, pleasing you

When I look in your eyes
What am I supposed to do?
When I look in your eyes
Alright, alright
When I look in your eyes
What am I supposed to do?
What do I do
What am I to do?

We have forgotten so much since then

General CommentIt seems like it's about a past relationship that could be on the verge of coming back.

"We have forgotten so much since -then-" past
"The scent of your breath -again-" now

"She'd have said it's cruel" Girl between past and present that doesn't accept what he cares about.

    "Don't fall (in love again)"
"The feeling that you're not mine"
He doesn't want it to come back because he has "No sense of what's left or gone."

"The way that we are - I can't tell - I'f I'm asleep or awake"
"We're [pretending/making up] words in the place of people we used to know."
He doesn't know if they are truly falling in love again or just dreaming up their past feelings.

General CommentThis song is amazing. I can't believe there aren't any other comments.

It could be about a relationship that never really worked as they don't like the same things ("i only cared about the tings you don't") and now the relationship is ending.

Or they could have rushed into their relationship and now they regret it ("maybe its the way that we fell")

Anyway thats just my take on it.
Does anyone know what Alexandra and Becky are saying in the chorus?

General Commenti'd like to know the background lyrics during the chorus! too too too fast...huh?
    haha.

[i agree with the eighties vibe]- part of the amazing versatility of r-cubed's sound, i suppose.

General CommentI'll make the voice talking be a boy (seeing as Miles is singing. But it could be a girl's voice). This song is about a boy telling a girl that even though not a lot of time has gone by, it seems like they have been apart for so long (apart as in broken up). He sees through the illusion of time and realizes that he still has feelings for her but she keeps on thinking that years have gone by. He looks into her eyes and yet they somehow aren't open. He's trying to open her eyes.

Not sure if that's even close to how it was supposed to be written. But that's what I got out of it.
    Great song.
The only 'genre' I could classify Ra Ra Riot as is 'beautiful music'.

General CommentOh, and analyzing that last part before the final chorus. Beginning with "I could tell you were there"..
He finally got through to her and they both know that feelings are still present due to the incredibly little time that has passed. But because they aren't back together, he wants something that'll make him finally believe it's over.
