This dark room, another cigarette
The carpet's strewn, I'm getting sick of it
The end is near, I'm in the thick of it
And I'll be there soon, if you can handle it

Just save me, from all that I am
You save me, for the fuck of it
Save me, just hold out your hand
You save me, from all of it

I try to speak myself, you can do it too
I need no one's help, I'm needing only you
So just pray for me, and deliver it
You never take from me, what I'm giving

Just save me, from all that I am
You save me, for the fuck of it
Save me, just hold out your hand
You save me, from all of it

And all that I've become is you
The only good in me is you
And after all of this
The day will come to find out
Will you take me or forsake me?
So pray for me, am I forgiven
For what you take from me?

Just save me, from all that I am
You save me, for the fuck of it
Save me, just hold out your hand
You save me, from all of it
Come save me

Pray for me
Am I forgiven?

This i have mixed feelings about, i can relate to some of it, how one person makes such an impact on your life, "the only good in me is you", ive related to that, and i do find myself asking them to help.. but there seems less backbone to this song then others? its more dependant in a good way.

This is another sog for Vanessa, most of the songs on the new album seem to be about her. his one is telling her that she saves Aaron everyday, but to me this song reminds me of my best friend Sasha, not only because I love her with all my heart, but because she is the only person that can make me smile and laugh no matter what. She saves me every day. She did it for five years when we wre little and she's done it for the past two since we started talking again. I love you Sash. :)

    Song Meaning

This song touches the heart<3 Alright.... we know that he is alone by himself in his room and he is depressed and thinking about what he has done with his life.((remininscing)) He doesn't have a perfect past, he's made mistakes and he knows it!! The person who cares about him the most and understands him can save him from all of it. He doesn't need his friends and all the bullshit drugs and shit to numb his pain. He needs love and a new life to start over. He's ready too!! She has what he wants. She can offer him the kind of life he wants. He wants to know that he is forgiven for all the bad he has done and she brings out the good in him. " The only good in me is you" He has become her....he thinks like her... he wants to love and be more like her because that's who he really is inside. He doesn't always want to feel depressed he wants to know that everything is okay that his past won't be held against him. He's a good person and wants to show it. He needs her to do it cause he can't do it himself. He needs that reassurance. When he says pray for me... he means help me become the man I need to be!!! He wants the girl to deliver his prayer. He relies on her. They were meant to be.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.

Midnight
Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
