"Broken" as written by and Jack Hody Johnson....
Anything we should know about your change?]
Didn't sleep last night
Couldn't calm down
The cold water running past my window
Kept me crying out

Give me sunlight
The good medicine
It's all part of the open pressures
Of growing up

Met a friend but then again
You could get around town like they do
Have a shower, then drive around
Looking out for Northfields Avenue

The journey's sour, the fire is out
Love achieving sounds sell a heart of glue
Have a listen, a dirty mind
Moving matters untold residue

Its all evolution's fault now
It's all down to echoes in the crowd

General CommentI think the NME review said it was "couldn't come down," because it was a drug-fixated record, but I don't know. Great song, anyway.

General CommentI'm kinda just guessing, but it sounds like it's about drugs and prostitution.

"Didn't sleep last night, couldn't calm down" -drug high?
"The journey's sour, the fire is out, love achieving sounds sell a heart of glue" -whores/getting a whore?

I don't know, there's little things that just make me think that's what this song's about. Maybe I'm wrong.

General Comment'Echoes' could be spelled 'Echos'
    a slang word for ecstasy
or a local night club in Loughborough

General CommentI always thought it was "It's all evolution's fault now. It's all down to acorns in the ground" ...that is much cooler anyways.
