"Sorrow [Correction]" as written by Sameer Bhattacharya, James Culpepper, Jared Hartmann, Lacey Nicole Sturm and Kirkpatrick Seals....
Sometimes life seems to quiet
Into paralyzing silence
Like the moonless dark
Meant to make me strong

Familiar breath of my old lies
Changed the color in my eyes
Soon he will perforate the fabric of the peaceful by and by

Sorrow lasts through this night
I'll take this piece of you
And hold for all eternity
For just one second I felt whole
As you flew right through me

Left alone with only reflections of the memory
To face the ugly girl that's smothering me
Sitting closer than my pain
He knew each tear before it came
Soon He will perforate the fabric of the peaceful by and by

Sorrow lasts through this night
I'll take this piece of you
And hold for all eternity
For just one second I felt whole
As you flew right through me

And we kiss each other one more time
And sing this lie that's halfway mine
The sword is slicing through the question
So I won't be fooled by his angel light

Sorrow lasts through this night
I'll take this piece of you
And hold for all eternity
For just one second I felt whole
As you flew right through me

And up into the stars
Joy will come

General CommentI think this, means like, Lacie went to confession,
"Sometimes it seems too quiet into paralyzing silence,"
When ever I go to confession, there is always a loooong silence, between the priest and I.
"Familiar breath of my old lies" She's telling him her confessions
"Left alone with only reflections of the memory
To face the ugly girl, that's smothering me
    Sitting closer than my pain
He knew each tear before it came
Soon he will perferate the fabric of the peaceful by and by" she is done with the priest,
and is left to reconcile, so she is by herself, she strats to cry, and God knew about them before they came into her eyes.
    IDK, thats what i think!
    Awsome song!

General CommentSometimes it seems too quiet into paralyzing silence,
Like the moon is dark, meant to make me strong,
Familiar breath of my old lies
Change the colour in my eyes
Soon he will perferate the fabric of the peaceful by and by
i think this song is about whats going on in the concience
and blaming the "devil" for her sins

Left alone with only reflections of the memory
To face the ugly girl, that's smothering me=self esteem issues
    Sitting closer than my pain
He knew each tear before it came=God
Soon he will perferate the fabric of the peaceful by and by

And we kiss each other one more time
And sing this lie thats half-way mine
The sword is slicing through the question so I won't be fooled
By his angel light=maybe remembering a"sin" she still feels guity for

    sorrow lives through this night
I'll take this piece of you
    And hope for all eternity
For just one second I felt whole
As you flew right through me and up into the stars
    maybe feeling Gods presence

im not cristian but my cousin is and always comes to me when she feels guilty about something and this song reminds me of that feeling guilty about the supposed sins one commits and blaming it on the "devil"
and how the "the flesh is weak" and whatnot i can never help her because i dont think like her and i dont want to question or make herself question her beliefs...my english is not very good looking lol

My InterpretationThis song could also be interpreted as someone losing someone they love.
"Sometimes it seems too quiet into paralyzing silence,
Like the moon is dark, meant to make me strong,"
shes all alone but she knows the experience is meant to make her strong
"Familiar breath of my old lies
Change the colour in my eyes"
perhaps she has lied about being okay or maybe she lied during the relationship and it has effected everything she sees or does
the chorus is self explainatory, she felt whole when she was with him but he flew right through her...maybe even perhaps died
"And we kiss each other one more time
And sing this lie thats half-way mine
The sword is slicing through the question so I won't be fooled
    By his angel light"
I think this part is about the relationship being forbade because the man is manipulative but she gives into weakness one more time by kissing him and singing the lie thats half way hers
"Left alone with only reflections of the memory
To face the ugly girl, that's smothering me
    Sitting closer than my pain
He knew each tear before it came
Soon he will perferate the fabric of the peaceful by and by"
shes left alone with memories of the relationship and she has to face who she has become and what she has done. But god is sitting closer than her pain and he knew each tear before it came and she is basically saying she may have lost her love but god knew that would happen and she is still right where she is supposed to be even though its unpleasant.
Anyways this is one of the ways i interpret it, I'm not saying this was the way intended by lacey mosley. I probably just think of it this way because it fits my own experiences exactly, which is what music is all about anyway.

General CommentWell, I've always thought the song was about regretting a night spent on you-know-what. She felt whole for just one second, when she was doing you-know-what with someone, but not her husband. She sings to this someone: "and we kiss each other one more time, and sing this lie that's half-way mine", she knows it was only for one night, she feels it was also her fault. When she sings "He knew each tear before it came", she sings about God (or maybe about her boyfriend/husband, if she was not only having sex with this someone, but also cheating her boyfriend/husband).

I don't say Lacey cheats anyone, maybe she's a good wife, but who said a good wife cannot sing about what it's like when you're cheating and why it never satisfies you? On "Memento Mori" there is also a song about this, "The Kind" xD.
