"Death Of The Anti Mother" as written by and Cory Brandan Putman....
I hope you burn forever
There will be no other way

No more suffering
No more trust will be lost
No more wounded
No more blood will be shed

Just know, mean to harm you
I want to see you choking and kicking in your own blood

We all have our own personals
I just hope yours burns brighter

Deception has been your right hand
Confusing the sight of my life
You wont leave the way you cam and how no more blood will be she'd
No more blood will be shed [Repeats]

[Repeats till end]
We will burn for this
We will both of us burn

General CommentSounds pretty self explanatory here.

Apparently he wants something to hurt. He wants it to disappear for all suffering to end. My guess is sin, but could also be satan.

The last to lines talk about how the both of them will burn. Sin is not the only person to blame. We have the choice to sin. And we will burn because we choose to sin.

    General Commentdefinitely about a woman
    the whole cd is
the term "Anti-Mother" is about an outwardly welcoming feminine figure, that is deceitful and harmful on the inside. heard that straight from corey brandon's mouth

the song, and album, is predominately about a girl (lover most likely) that hurt him severely. sure, there are references, and maybe songs, about sin and satan, but its mostly about that anti-lover

General CommentThat does help clear up a lot of meanings behind the songs. I'm assuming she's the one doing all these sinful acts with the other person, causing that person to sin.

General CommentMost of the songs at The Anti Mother talks about a female figure. I think this female figure is a picture of Satan because women can tempt men to do a lot of wrong things, just like Satan is doing to the mankind.

Birth of the anti mother is describing how Satan is tempting us and filling us up with sin. How we start to fear him, but at the other hand can't let go of him. So he ends up destroying us.

This song is talking about how Cory hates Satan for what he has done to him. And how he hopes Satan will be tortured for all the misery he has caused.

We will both of us burn."

These 2 lines are interesting though.
To me the say 2 things.

    1. We know for a fact that Satan is gonna burn in Hell according to the Bible.
But Cory says that they are both gonna burn for this. So maybe he wants to say, that all this hate he has against Satan is also wrong. The Bible teaches the christians to love their enemy, remember?

    2. This one is what I think is the most "correct".
Because off all the sin Cory has been committing (as a result of Satan's temptations) he is also sentenced to spend eternity in Hell like Satan. Cause the price of sin is eternal death. BUT!!! Because Jesus died, he took the punishment, so we can go free from the flames.
Unfortunately we often forget that sin is a serious thing that causes eternal death and flames, because we always count on God's mercy and take it for granted to be saved. So I think Cory wants to remind us about how big and serious Sin actually is - that it leads to death. But it also shows how much we have been saved from.

General CommentId like to point out the line,

    "we will burn for this.
we will both of us burn."

is said in the movie 'the bourne identity'. its not just a small part of a scene. its the closing phrase. pretty neat.

Jesus died for us so that we shall not perish, but have eternal life. He did not die to save us from burning. God will punish us for the sins we commit regardless, but we are saved at the same time thanks to Jesus. We will burn because God loves us. To punish us is to correct our wrong doings. To keep us from commiting those mistakes again, and to learn from them.

We will not perish because of Jesus, but we will burn for our mistakes.
