"Milk Eyes" as written by and John Patterson Patience Hodgson....
Milk eyes, what a surprise, I didn't think that I'd be ordering for two.
Little legs what do you say, why don't we go and get some milkshake from boobs?

Bleeding on the back seat I couldn 't care less, bleeding on the back seat,
You know I'm never gonna turn you away, you know I'm never gonna give you no pain.
Even if I could, yeah, even though I would, even though my friends all say that I should.

Little one riding your bike, you're going so fast think you're gonna crash it.
You come running to me, for some strange reason makes me feel so complete.

Bleeding from your knees, I couldn't care more, bleeding from your knees,
You know I'm never gonna, even if I could, yeah, even though I would,
Even though my friends all say that I should.

I'll never turn you away, I'll never give you no pain,
I'll never lead you astray, I won't rain on your parade,
I'll never look through your draws, oh take it what's mine is yours.

I took the long road, now I've gotta go and make it better.
We took the long road, now I've gotta go we really gotta.

Bleeding from your knees, I couldn't care more,
Bleeding on the back seat.

You know I'm never gonna turn you away,
You know I'm never gonna give you no pain,
Even if I could, yeah, even though I would,
even though my friends all say that I should.

Milk eyes what a surprise,
I didn't think that I'd be ordering for two.
I took the long road, now I've gotta go and make it better.
We took the long road, now I've gotta go we really gotta. Bye!

General CommentI think she decided not to get an abortion, even some people say she should, and will give birth to her baby, so she's imaging how'd it be

General CommentI think this is such a beautiful song about an imagined motherhood of Patience's, it paints such a sweet picture of the love of a mother for her child, and leaves me feeling wonderful.

General CommentI never quite got the significance of the song until I managed to listen closer when driving home earlier. What set it off was the lines about bleeding in the backseat. After that, it all just started making sense. Was already a strong favorite from the album and this doesn't change the fact.
