"Tell Me" as written by and Anthony Dent Jason Boyd....
There's a hole (hole) in this story (in the story)
There is something (something) that I haven't seen (that I haven't seen)
And for now, you want to keep it to yourself

But if you're lonely (lonely)
Tell me (tell me), tell me (tell me)

I know the way you look
You don't want to say what you're thinking
You're eyes, they start to roll when you're holding back
And I used to blame myself
but there must be other serious reasons
why the devil's in your voice when you start to laugh

There's a hole (hole) in this story (in the story)
There is something (something) that I haven't seen (that I haven't seen)
And for now, you want to keep it to yourself

But if you're lonely (lonely)
Tell me (tell me), tell me (tell me)

I have tried and tried
I still cannot find any good sleep
Did you think that I would go on not noticing?
Your intentions are too sweet
but you don't want to listen to me
Would you rather us complete this misery?

There's a hole (hole) in this story (in the story)
There is something (something) that I haven't seen (that I haven't seen)
And for now, you want to keep it to yourself

But if you're lonely (lonely)
Tell me (tell me), tell me (tell me)
If you're lonely
Tell me, tell me

General CommentI think this song is about someone dating a girl and she has like another man or is going to date another man, and she won't tell him because she han't decided yet... but he already knows.
    Great Song.

General Commentthis song is definitely a grower... i can't stop

"You're eyes, they start to roll when you're holding back" - love the way Keith sings this

OSL's meaning is spot on, but I envision it to be about a secret from a girls past that holds her back and pushes her away. The singer tries to get past it, and can see the day when they will, but he must build her trust and wait for her to "Tell Me"

If you connect with him, Keith Goodwin (and whoever collaborates with him) is one of the best songwriters of our time.
