"Disaster" as written by Eron Bucciarelli-tieger, Micah Carli, James Ii Woodruff and Matthew Ridenour....
How should I say
That I never wanted anything to change
If I rearranged the pieces of
A broken down faith

Do you believe in me
Because I'm not sure
I believe in anything, anymore

Pick up the pieces and
Make me understand
Why we can't move any faster
We're losing all demand
I've broken all my plans
This year was a disaster

What should I do
I never thought anything would come true
The solution for the broken down abuse
I'm waiting for, waiting for
To let me fall on through
I'm getting closer to letting go, letting go of you

Pick up the pieces and
Make me understand
Why we can't move any faster
We're losing all demand
I've broken all my plans
This year was a disaster

What you don't know
Will only make this worse
What you don't know
Will only make this worse
What you don't know
Will only make this worse
What you don't know
Will only make this worse

Pick up the pieces and
Make me understand
Why we can't move any faster
We're losing all demand
I've broken all my plans
This year was a disaster

Pick up the pieces and
Make me understand
Why we can't move any faster
We're losing all demand
I've broken all my plans
This year was a disaster

General CommentI think it's about things falling apart.
You can try to change things or 'put them back together' the way they used to be, but when things are broken its hard to fix them.
Sometimes, you have to give up on something and let go.
But when he let go, a part of you can be lost too.

Its like, once everything you used to know falls to pieces, you don't know what is even real anymore.

I feel like he is looking for someone who believes in him, to reassure him of who he is. Who he used to be is lost.

General CommentThis would easily be the best song on the album if it wasn't for the chorus XP. But I still like it. This and Sugar In The Engine are my favourites out of the album. The rest sound too...happy...Hawthorne Heights and happy don't exactly go together too well...

General CommentI think this song is about the length of the lawsuit. they weren't even half way done when they decided to talk things over with victory.

this could be to the whole year 2007 going to waste because it was just time being spent on a lawsuit. Jt also probably thought people were forgetting about them since it was taking so long.

General CommentI think it's about Casey dying. Most of the songs on this album seem to be. It was a disaster cause he died and they're trying to piece their lives and their band and stuff back together.

General Commenti think both liquid and saranya are right
like overall i think the song is about victory shit
but when he talks about the year being a disaster
it has pretty much everything to do with it
casey, and victory and more ..

General Commentwell the album release was August.. so the song was probaly written in April/May time.. meaning it would reffer to 2007. however it could reffer to the past 12 months. but casey being dead did spoil many of their current and future plans.

General CommentOops, I meant to write "But when you let go, a part of you can be lost too."
And also, its supposed to be "to reassure himself of who he is."

Haha just two corrections, cause I'm anal lyke dattt.
