"Sorry" as written by Lashawn Daniels, Robin Tadross, Joe Jonas, Nuno Bettencourt and James / Fauntleroy....
Broken hearts and last goodbyes
Restless nights but lullabies
Helps make this pain go away
I realize I let you down
Told you that I'd be around
Building up the strength just to say

I'm sorry
For breaking all the promises that I wasn't around to keep.
Its all me
This time is the last time that I will ever beg you to stay.
But your already on your way.

Filled with sorrow, filled with pain
Knowing that I am to blame
For leaving your heart out in the rain
And I know your gonna walk away
And leave me with the price to pay
But before you go I wanted to say

Yeah!

That I'm sorry
For breaking all the promises that I wasn't around to keep
Its all me
This time is the last time that I will ever beg you to stay.
But you're already on your way.

Can't make it alive on my own
But if you have to go, then please girl
Just leave me alone.
Cause I don't want to see you and me going our separate ways.
I'm begging you to stay
If it isn't too late

I'm sorry
For breaking all the promises that I wasn't around to keep.
Its all me
This time is the last time that I will ever beg you to stay.
But your already on your way.

But your already on your way...

General CommentI love how you can hear the sorrow in their voices in this song, hearing Nick sing:
"Filled with sorrow, filled with pain
Knowing that I am to blame
For leaving your heart out in the rain
And I know you're going to walk away
Leave me with a price to pay
Before you go, I wanted to say, yeah"

Made me break down in tears hearing the pain in his voice.
Also when Joe sings the chorus by himself it gives me the chills...

that is the best part i think.
it's about you were in a relationship with someone and you broke up with them.
but you regret and feel so bad for breaking up and all the things you did and did not do when you were in that relationship.
he wants to apologize for them.

General CommentThis is most definitely NOT about Miley.
Joe wrote the song, and it's about missing someone and not being there for her while on tour.

General Commentthis song is about Miley when they broke up at the end of 2007. The line "Knowing that I am to blame
For leaving your heart out in the rain" The go to Miley's song 7 Things lyrics..."And now we're standing in the rain But nothing's ever gonna change."

They both have cross reference to the rainy day they broke up.

    Just a thought.
