"Fall into Me" as written by Kristian Bush, Jennifer Nettles and Scooter Carusoe....
When the weight of the world
Breaks down so strong it
Leaves footprints on the street
And theres too many miles to face
Without a few more hours sleep
The storm clouds overhead wont shed
Any rain to quench your thirst
I wanna be the one you reach for first

When your faith is stretched so thin
You can see right through your soul
And you cant find a nickel to buy a smile cause all your pockets all got holes
You wanna shut the door and
Hide before the day can get much worse
I wanna be the one you reach for first

Fall into me
My arms are opened wide
And you don't have to say a word
Cause I already see
That its hard
And your scared
And your tired
And it hurts
And I wanna be the one you reach for first

I wanna be the bottle you've been drinkin' with your eyes
Or the road you run away on
You've been runnin' all your life
The third row pew that you last knew
As a child in church
I wanna be the one your reach for first

Fall into me
My arms are opened wide
And you don't have to say a word
Cause I already see
That its hard
And your scared
And your tired
And it hurts
And I wanna be the one you reach for first

Before your turn the key
Before you fall asleep
Before your drift away
To find some demons waiting for you
In your dreams
Before your arms stretched wide open
Before you're reaching for the sky
Before your searching for direction
And all the answers to your life

Fall into me
My arms are opened wide
And you don't have to say a word
Cause I already see
That its hard
And your scared
And your tired
And it hurts
And I wanna be the one you reach for first

General CommentI love this song. It's just about being somebody's everything. She wants to be the person he turns to in the hard times, and she wants to help him.

General CommentAt first I thought that it was about one person reaching out to another but the more I listened to it, I think there is something deeper there. That it might be a sort of spiritual song? I am not really sure how much faith Sugarland has or anything...just a thought.

    Either way, beautiful song.

General CommentThis is definitely about wanting to be that somebody you're lover turns to when the times are hard. I love it because we all want to be that somebody for someone, even if it's just a friend.

General Commenti think this may be my favorite sugarland song!
it really is a gorgeous song. it is all about being there for that someone no matter what they are going through. thats a really hard message to capture in a song but i think sugarland once again did it perfectly

Song MeaningTo me it sounds like addiction. "A nickel to buy a smile" "the bottle you've been drinking with your eyes" "demons"

Just sounds to me like someone has a loved one that is dealing with addiction and they are almost BEGGING them to let her help them

My InterpretationSo beautiful! It spoke to me of being there for others but more than that allowing your soul to comfort you and guide you.
