"Weak Sister" as written by and Jacob Rolleston Patrick Damphier....
Weak sister
Put on your nightgown
Walk out west and watch the valley drink the sun down
If nothing's changing, then nothing's breaking
Make your way to bed

Weak sister
Have sweet dreams
Throwing things and parts at parts of things
You're no one
If nothing's breaking, you're not changing
So, please, just stay in bed

You want this to need that
You're better off alone
You need this to want that
You're better off unknown

Weak sister
Take off your nightgown
Get in the water
Wash off all the nightmares
Where everything is changing and nothing's breaking
You can't sit still
Are we are is incomplete
Waiting for a chance to wait forever
You are responsible

You want this to need that
You're better off alone
You need this to want that
You're better off unknown
You're better off alone
You're better off unknown

Weak sister
Close your eyes
Lay your burdens down and fall asleep
Life starts again tomorrow
Nothing is changing
Nothing is breaking
Nothing is changing
Nothing is breaking

You want this to need this
You need this to want that
You're better off unknown
You're better off alone
You're better off alone
You're better off alone
You're better off unknown
Better off alone

General Comment"all we are is incomplete"
    Still. Minor details :D
Gah, I wish I could've seen this band live before they broke up.

This seems like something you would honestly write about a sibling, or someone very close to you. :)

My Opinionweak sister is a methaphor. merriam-webster.com/dictionary/…

the song could be about the traveling to the west for freedom and escape persecution, but the sad fact at the end of the day is that, even here in america nothing is changing, the world is still prejudice. "lay your burdens down and fall asleep". don't let the oppression keep you from sleeping. "nothing is changing, nothing is breaking" nothing is changing at fast rates, no need to be upset, because nothing is breaking. the world still functions even though its discriminatory. the song says enjoy life for what it is and that you if you're are a "weak sister" you need to realize you are better off alone because everyone is out there to hurt you. but we need to help our "weak sisters"!! THE SONG IS A CALL TO ACTION!!! WE NEED TO HELP OUR WEAK SISTERS!! the whole nightgown thing could be a reference to women and that they need assistance to end the oppression. "YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE" you're better off if no one knows you, no one oppressing you, and you're better off alone, because you should not need someone to take care of you, instead we should be taking care of each other mutually. also things have to break to change. if nothing is breakign, nothing is changing, so we need conflict to have change!!! we need to stop waiting and start breaking/making change. we don't need to want all those things, which then become needs. we don't need all those things which are essentially wants!!!
