"This Dance Is Loaded" as written by Will Drummond, Nicholas James Wilson, Declan Xavier Melia and Matthew Vincent O'gorman....
An image problem, this is it
We're gonna turn this dance on, with a switch
For you nervous dudes who move in rewind
An image problem, is all we have
She said are you all right there, I just laughed
I guess we really fucked up this time
So I have to remind myself

It's so rare that we need somebody else
We take care to be dangers to ourselves
And this dance might be all that we have left
The safety is off and it's loaded
Has every girl you ever met, put a sex machine gun to your head
And ask you does sex still sell

It's so rare that we need somebody else
We take care to be dangers to ourselves
And this dance might be all that we have left
I don't know what her name is
Sex sells like a weapon that's loaded, and being pushed to our temples
This dance is loaded

General Commentwhen this album was the feature album on triple j, they did have the band do an intro and explain abit about the songs. I remember hearing that this song was about a nightclub where the band used to go. Girls would flood the dancefloor and their boyfriends would hang to the the side, and when another bloke would dance with the girls the boyfriends would flood in and start a fight. Thats why the dance is loaded.
