So did you miss me?
'Cause I've been gone all night.
Surely you had noticed,
you know this is not just a mystery.
I've figured out your style.
Taking any blame leaves you feeling unbalanced.
So I left the faucet in the bathroom on.
Who's to say I'm just another stereotype?
A woman's point of view has never been so cold-
hearted as you are when you're ready to fight.

Any lower and we fall out of love.
The lucky one'll be the first to die.
I'm stuck in a moment that I've been dreaming of.
Now moving on.

I'm coming home if you're ready or not.
I'll rewrite your story with a happier ending.
A blurry target but I'm taking the shot.
I want it all.

So are you listening?
Did I make it on time?
The clock's illuminating it’s the time of the night.
The world's wishing for vertical lines.
We're hanging by a thread.
Yeah, we'll be here a while.
So I left the lights in the kitchen on.
Who's to say I'm living a predictable guy?
Circumstance's got another problem to solve.
They're never gonna to catch us,
now we're running to hide.

I left a path, but you covered it up.
The lucky one’ll be the first they find.
I'm stuck in a moment that I've been dreaming of.
Now moving on.

I'm coming home if you're ready or not.
I'll rewrite your story with that happier ending.
A blurry target but I'm taking the shot.
I want it all.

Bending the rule ends up breaking her heart.
I'm playing elevator music with my mind on ascending.
To thirty floors, I'm reaching the top.
I want it all.

So the blame lies on me for dragging it on,
but who's the one responsible for turning the knife?
The post-attack-back-stabbing's part of your own
Tradition
handed down, truth be told,
so you told only lies.

(Any longer and we fall out of love.)
The lucky one'll be the one alive.
I'm stuck in a moment that I've been dreaming of.
Now moving on.
Noooo.

General Comment"The world's wishing for vertical lines" should really read "The world's wishing on four vertical lines."

    Meaning, of course, 11:11.

    Amazing song.

General Commentthe vocal on "i want it all" is really strong

its makes me super mad that this band with such amazing sound and vocals and writing style would write an entire album with lyrics about relationships....its like he doesnt even understand the situation so all the song lyrics are contradictory within themselves....im so mad! i wish their songs would make sense!

General Commentthis band sounds neat but every song is about a breaking up with his girlfriend and nothing about God. so much for the christian label
