"Profanity Prayers" as written by and Beck Hansen....
? you couldn't help
Much then like a preacher
With the ?
And the fireproof
Bones of a teacher
And your bingo card
Comes sacrament of a casino
On the half of me now
With the guillotine libido

Who's got an answer?
Profanity prayers
Who's got an answer?
Profanity prayers

Well you know how it looks
When you close
All your books on the table
And you stare into space
Trying to decide the way now
And you wait at the light
And watch for a sign
That you're breathing
Cause you can't choose
To live on air
And float to the ceiling

Who's got an answer?
Profanity prayers
Who's got an answer?
Profanity prayers

Who's got an answer?
Profanity prayers
Who's got an answer?
Profanity prayers

General CommentExcept the refrain, it really reminds me of Neil Young`s Mr. Soul.

General CommentI gather, life is what you make of it. No matter what you make of it. It also makes me think that having faith is okay, just not blind faith because in the end you are the master of your own destiny.

Whether it be dirty or clean no one is going to answer your prayers so suck it up and make the best of it.

General CommentIt indeed does remind me of Buffalo Springfields' '''Mr. Soul'' but the intro reminds of something else.
Which is the Beatles' ''Back in the U.S.S.R.''
It's sort of a landing plane or something, and then the rhythm and drum beat.
    Very much alike.
