"True as the Night" as written by and Craig Robert Nicholls....
Down & out
Left by the side of the railway
Day goes by into the night
I was thinkin'

And my love is true
And my love is right
And my love is true
True as the night
Oh well

Hear the sound
Over the trees
There's a river
I don't know where to begin
Or to end it

And my love is true
And my love is right
And my love is true
True as the night
Oh well

I stand alone
Inside me
The things ya told
Deny me
Yeah we are the heart
Yeah we are the soul

I stand alone
Inside me
The things ya told
Deny me

Yeah we are the heart
Yeah we are the soul

General CommentThe first half of this song seems to have a bit of a Smiths influence - I'm not sure if Craig is a fan, but maybe it's a subconscious influence. I like the false ending just like in the song "Winning Days."

General CommentThey released a statement from Nicholls that this si actually a sequal to the song Vision Valley. Since that song is about daydreaming, I wonder if this is the daydream. Trippy, huh?
