"Ex Machina" as written by and Michael/white Jagmin....
Final forewarning has gone through the door
I have seen this before
Etch it in my spine; now you think "he's mine" for all time
Overproduce me .. hoping for a dramatic change
Map out your great escape
What's the connection?
The slightest deception between you and me
Man and machine
Disassemble me breathing at your knees
Your machine
Cut me open; you'll find what you've been looking for
Helpless in motion; arise to serve me once more
Relaxed movement brings too much pain to be seen
Overproduce me hoping for a dramatic change
Map out your great escape
What's the connection?
The slightest deception between you and me
Man and machine
Disassemble me breathing at your knees
Your machine
Override command confirmed
Manual control returned
Your machine
I have seen this before

"Machina" was the name for any kind of powered machine in Final Fantasy. They were forbidden because of their destructive nature.
So, in my opinion, it's just talking about the creation of one of those monster machines.
At the end, it's talking about how the machines went bad; speaking of their destructive nature (Override command confirmed.) But it's whoever's fault for creating them. The creation was "Your machine," therefore, your fault.
Non-Final Fantasy interpretation:
Being what everybody wants you to be and eventually breaking free of that mold.
It is excellent.
It is about someone who sacrifices everything to serve the one they love.
A devoted relationship. But they then decide they want more, and think for themselves.
and if you havent seen Sunshine yet, do it.
The movie clip is about the failed attempt to use machina to destroy Sin, the evil of the world.
Even though I'm not sure that particular part has anything to do with this song, it's cool to connect it to Final Fantasy somehow.
