"Miracle" as written by Wayne Anthony Hector and Robyn Smith....
Don't they know that there's something going on
What they're harming with their indecision
But who will be left standing when I'm gone?
There'll be nothing left but a vision

It's too easy to turn a blind eye to the light
It's too easy to bow your head and pray
There are some times when you should try to find your voice
This is one voice that you must find today

Are you hoping for a miracle

As the ice caps melt away?
No use hoping for a miracle
There's a price we'll have to pay

It's too easy to turn a blind eye to the light
It's too easy to bow your head and pray
There are some times when you should try to find your voice
This is one voice that you must find today

Are you hoping for a miracle
As the ice caps melt away?
No use hoping for a miracle

General CommentLove this song too (the clip too! Beautiful images!)
It's about global warming ("ice caps melt away" + "who will be left standing when I'm (Earth) gone"), but not only.
I think it's talking about the passivity and its negative consequences. ---> "Don't they know there's something they can do" + "are you hoping for a miracle"
It's an appeal to change things. First, by becoming conscious of what's happening ---> "Don't they know there something going wrong"
Then, by doing something. Praying is useless, it's passive. We must act "to be sure of tomorrow's tomorrow". And this sentence can be apply to any bad things (war, hungry, etc.). In one word, don't "turn a blind eye to the light", see what's happen and do something for the future of our planet ("I am balanced in yours hands" [album version]) AND by extension of humanity. =)
That's what it means for me.
(A big sorry if you don't understand what I've write, because I don't speak English =S)

    General CommentI love this song.
I'm certain its about global warming. The "ice caps" rather give it away.

Song Meaningit makes since that it's about Global Warming
i somewhat agree with you Cyclamen.
I do think that they are conscious that it's happening but instead of doing anything or taking any action, they're just sitting there and still doing what they are doing today that is causing global warming. "turn a blind eye to the light" refers to how easy it is to do something to change what's happening. like if u don't recycle, start doing it, or if you live close to ur work or school, maybe walk to take your bike instead.
the whole thing of "Are you looking for a miracle" is about well if you guys are just gonna sit on your butts and not do anything, like what are you waiting for? some kinda miracle to fix this huge problem that is going on.
"It's too easy to bow your head and pray
There are some times when you should try to find your voice
This is one voice that you must find today"
means that of course you can pray and stuff but sometimes it's not good enough, especially to ppl who may not even believe in God in the first place (i'm not one of those people), and that raising your voice and saying "hey, we have a serious problem" can help. even if you think not.
The world will not change by itself and the reason that things are happening today are happening because sometimes we let it happen and others turn and see that "hey they're doing it too, maybe i should"
this part, in my opinion doesn't just talk about global warming but the problems people are facing today like gang violence, teenage pregnancy, teenage drug and alcohol use and how sometimes some ppl pass it up or not even that, they see that everyone is doing it and they turn around and say "i can too" (referring to what i just said about above)
