Everybody's watching now
You'd better get a hold of yourself
Because the insides are out and exposed
And the flashbulbs just went off

You take your time, find your stride
And open up the front door again
Your front door again
Your front door again

It never was an easy life
You'll never get away from yourself
Behind the lines that you've drawn and inhaled
Is the little girl you know

You've got your dress and your purse
And your big sunglasses on your face
Well, they're on your face
Well, they're on your face

L-I-L-O
Lilo
L-I-L-O
Lilo
L-I-L-O
Lilo

Now you're the party girl
What do you gotta say for yourself?
The magazines and the gossip pages
Thank God your story sells

You brush them off like the fans
And the paparazzi photographs
Oh, the photographs
Oh, the photographs

L-I-L-O
Lilo
L-I-L-O
Lilo
L-I-L-O
Lilo

And every day I pray for you
To get well again
To get well again
To get well again

L-I-L-O
Lilo
L-I-L-O
Lilo
L-I-L-O
Lilo
L-I-L-O
Lilo
L-I-L-O
Lilo

General CommentI'm pretty sure this is about Lindsay Lohan - "Lilo," here, is no fictional character. "You've got your dress and your purse and your big sunglasses on your face" is, I think, a reference to "Lilo's" imitation of Marilyn Monroe - though I'll admit, the rest of the things Deana sings about could be applicable to many other people.
