Hello cowgirl in the sand,
Is this place at your command?
Can I stay for a little while,
Can I see your sweet, sweet smile?

Old enough now to change your name
When so many love you, is it the same?
Its the woman in you that makes you wanna play this game

Hello ruby in the dust,
Has your band begun to rust?
After all the sin we've had,
I thought we might turn back

Old enough now to change your name
When so many love you, is it the same?
Its the woman in you that makes you wanna play this game

Hello woman of my dreams,
Is this not the way it seems?
Purple words on a gray background,
To be a woman and to be turned down

Old enough now to change your name
When so many love you, is it the same?
Its the woman in you that makes you wanna play this game

General CommentDallas always covers songs beautifully, and this is no exception.
I love this song so much.

I think it's about finding the woman of his dreams but she's unwilling to settle down.
The band beginning to rust may be a wedding band? Not sure.

General CommentI think it's about a girl whom he loves yet she doesn't feel the same she probably toys with his feelings and in the end leaves him.
She probaby does this often, yet he can never resist her so she keep playing those games.
