Now
I'm passing every street light
With ease
The street signs are much to dark to even pretend I've been here before

Where is your hand to guide me, close by mine
Another dead end
No, not this

Troubles for miles with no sign
with no sign

Will she be waiting to pull me up to the sun?

Will she be waiting to pull me up to the sun?

Lost in a one track mind
Stopping the chance to take ourselves
Lost in a one track mind
Stopping the chance to take ourselves

She can't be much further...
As the day rests,
The sun fades, into my eyes
She floats around inside my empty head
Searching for

When does the moonlight end
The smell is so faint
But it must be the one
My bones ache,
From the cold
No one could predict that I would ever get this far
For so long

Do I have the strength
To go on
Smoke begins to fill my head
But still I press on

When does the moonlight end
The smell is so faint
But must be the one
When does the moonlight end
My bones ache
From the cold
No one could predict that I would ever get this far
For so long

Shes waiting
Shes waiting
Shes waiting
I feel her
Shes waiting

General CommentMy favorite song on the new record. Really love Johnny's vocals and the Circa Survive feel.

My InterpretationReal lyrics, from the book:

Now I'm passing every street light with ease
The street signs are much to dark to even pretend I've been here before

Where is your hand to guide me, close by mine?
    Not a dead end
    No, not this

This road goes for miles with no sign
    with no sign

Will she be waiting to pull me off to the side?
Will she be waiting to pull me off to the side?

Lost in a one track mind
Stalking the chance to take us alive
Lost in a one track mind
Stalking the chance to take us alive

She can't be much further, as the daydie
The sun fades into my eyes
She floats around inside my empty head
    Searching for...

Her touch still moves my hair
    The smell is so faint
But it must be the one
My bones ache from the cold

No one could predict that I would ever get this far
    (For so long)

Do I have the strength to go on?
Snow begins to fill my hair
    But still I press on

Her touch still moves my hair
    The smell is so faint
But it must be the one
My bones ache from the cold
Her touch still moves my hair
My bones ache from the cold

No one could predict that I would ever get this far
    (For so long)

    Shes waiting
    Shes waiting
    Shes waiting
    I feel her
    Shes waiting

    General Commenttaken from Jonny himself:

Part 1, and Part 2, are essentially a story about a couple who nobody wants together...

Part 1 deals with the shock of finding out that nobody wants them together, and the male wondering if the female will stick with him through all the hate, and the male asking, then deciding that the female means enough to him to fight for

Part 2 deals with the fight to sustain the relationship through everybodys disapproval but how they overcome this to stand together at the end....

General CommentNow I’m passing every streetlight with ease,
The street signs are much too dark to even pretend I’ve been here before,
Where is you hand to guide me, close ___,
Another dead end, no not this,
This road goes for miles with no sign, with no sign…

Will she be waiting to pull me up to the sun?
Will she be waiting to pull me up to the sun?

Lost in a one track mind, stuck in the chance to take us ?alive?,
    She can’t be much further,
As the day dies, the sun fades into my eyes,
She floats around inside my empty head,
    Searching for…

A chance to ___, the smell is so faint,
But it must be the one,
My bones ache, from the ?cold?

No one could predict that I would ever get this far,
    For so ?long?

Do I have the strength to ?go on?,
Smoke begins to fill my ?hair?, but still I press on,
A chance to move my ?hand?, the smell is so faint,
but it must be the one,
A chance to move my ?hand?, my bones ache,
    From the ?cold?

No one could predict that I would ever get this far,
    For so ?long?

    She’s waiting.
    She’s waiting.
She’s waiting. (And I feel her)
    She’s waiting.

General CommentI cant describe this song. One minute I feel like I really have it all figured out then next I'm not sure. Thats the way I like it. Johnny Craig has the most beautiful voice.
