I hear voices in my head
The council me
They understand
They tell me things that I will do
They show me things I'll do to you
They talk to me, they talk to me

You got your rules and your religion
All designed to keep you safe
But when rules start getting broken
You start questioning your faith
I have a voice that is my savior
Hates to love and loves to hate
I have the voice that has the knowledge
And the power to rule your fate

I hear voices crying
I see heroes dying
I taste the blood that's drying
I feel the tension rising

I hear voices in my head
The council me
They understand
They tell me things that I will do
They show me things I'll do to you
They talk to me, they talk to me

All the lawyers are defenseless
All the doctors are disease
And the preachers all are sinners
And the police just take the grease
All you judges you are guilty
All the bosses I will fire
All you bankers will have losses
And politicians are all liars

I see darkness falling
I hear voices calling
I feel justice crawling
I see faith has fallen

I hear voices in my head
The council me
They understand
They tell me things that I will do
They show me things I'll do to you
They talk to me, they talk to me

My OpinionIt was actually specifically written for Randy Orton. They followed him around for a week so that they could get into his mind set and be able to write this from The Viper's point of view.
So it is pretty much saying that he is being taken over by The Viper and cannot control his actions. No one else controls The Viper, The Viper controls them.

General Commentthere are some lyrics that are wrong in this...here are the corrected lyrics:

I have a voice, and it's my savior
Hates to love and loves to hate
I have a voice that has a knowledge
And the power to rule your fate

General CommentI think this talks about a person who is in a society where people have gained power by cheating their way to the top, instead of doing it in an honesty way. So, the person realizes he can't trust anyone but himself and he won't listen to anyone's opinions, but the ones in his head, meaning the voices. He won't listen to anyone, but himself. If the choice is right, then its right.

General CommentI also know that this is Randy Orton's theme. But every time I hear it I kinda think that this would make a good song for a "Joker:Origins" movie trailer. Don't ask me why. The lyrics seem to just fit

General CommentI totally agree with you about that and myself this is in a view of the person who has done this, it would fit Joker perfectly.

My InterpretationThis song gets me extremely pumped up in a different way than most heavy songs, it brings out the "sick" side everyone hides and lets anyone who gets in your way know they are in for trouble.
