People call you by different names
Your light burns out
But it has no place
Looks like fire
And it looks like rain
Feels like joy
Feels like pain

And it's chaos here today
With the sinners on parade
And it's chaos here today
With the sinners on parade

The parade has gone dry
We beat the rain again
Days of fire won't always rest
We won't always win

The planets have aligned
I can see them for miles
Looks like beauty
And it looks like scars
I could see the end
But I won't look that far

And it's chaos here today
With the sinners on parade
And it's chaos here today
With the sinners on parade

The parade has gone dry
We beat the rain again
Days of fire won't always rest
We won't always win

General CommentThis song is about the Devil in music. It's a take on how something like the universal language was once associated with the most evil thing in existence. The song is satirical in the sense that anyone can pick up an instrument and make music, it really should be a sin, therefore, we're all sinners.
