"Trouble" as written by Charlene Keys and Warren Campbell....
[Chorus: x2]
Trouble, oh trouble
Haven't slipped a day in years
Haven't slipped a day in years
Haven't slipped a day

When the neon lights that find you
Leave our memory far behind you
Down the line I will remind you
Listen how I love you

[Chorus: x2]

When the world steals all hope from you
Wonder where you dreams have gone to
You're the one I still belong to
Listen why I love you

General CommentI always thought the lyrics were "Haven't slept a day in years" instead of "Haven't slipped".

Might be my own sleep deprivation though ;-)

Anyway, can someone explain to me what "Haven't slipped a day in years" would mean?
English isn't my first language so I might miss something here.
