My vision of the surrounding terrain is very very sketchy
I broke my glasses head butting Francis Dec
Be careful where you're walking
Cause someone or somethings
Faint cologne is a queer
And be mindful of the motherfucking bats and rabid rabbits
You'd be crazy to feed the shitting ghost
And nobody even knows what's in that funky demented-looking shed

Spells Bellawood
And I would leave if I could
But i've been cut by the brambles
And i want you to see...
The infection is spreading inside of me

Strange things keep happening

There's a monster inside of me
It's been growing, look closer you can see
If I get to heave, my dear mother would cry
Ain't no boys with monsters in their insides
Accelerating faster through the sticks it nearly killed me
But my new skin's made of sticks 'n' stones 'n' bones
So come on in, throw a punch
Ah the mind's a terrible thing to chuck in the waste basket
They say it and I believe it
The soul is disposalbe though so show me
To the janitor and the janitor's closet

Spells Bellawood
And I want you to see
The infection is spreading inside of me

Strange things keep happening
Strange things keep happening, all around my head
Strange things keep happening

General CommentI saw them open for Conor Oberst the other night. THeir whole set was so eerie and great, this was absolutely the best one.

General CommentWithout actually researching this, I thought that the title of the song was a merging of the names Béla Lugosi and Ed Wood. Lugosi was a actor who famously played Dracula in a Broadway play and film and Ed Wood was a director of many incredibly bad horror films, amongst other genres. Years after Lugosi's stardom had withered, Wood offered him roles in most films he produced (and directed, wrote, acted in, edited etc).

    Anyway, that's all.
