"Sec Walkin" as written by and James Edward Olliges Jr....
Left leg, right leg
One leg at a time, I keep on walking
I keep on walking
Red light, green light
First light I see tonight, I am walking
Oh, yeah I am walking

Fever
Breathe in your own cool, blue air
Look for eyes that hypnotize and sparkle (sparkle)
Look for eyes that hypnotize and sparkle everywhere
Brother, brother, don't you care?
Brother, brother, don't you care?

Left leg, right leg
One leg at a time, I keep on walking (walking)
I keep on walking (walking)
Red light, green light
First light I see tonight, I am walking (walking)
Oh, yeah I am walking (walking)

Fever
Breathe in your own cool, blue air
Demon eyes, demon eyes are watching (watching)
Demon eyes, demon eyes are watching everywhere
Brother, brother, don't you care?
Brother, brother, don't you care?

    General CommentLeft leg. Right leg.
One leg at a time I
Keep on walkin. I keep on walkin.
    Red light. Green light. First
Light I see tonight I'm walkin.
    Ooh yeah I'm walkin.
    -----
The speaker is walking. Walking one leg at a time. The red light/green light significance could be a red light being an obstacle/hardship, and a green light being movement forward and prosperity. No matter the "light" he will continue walking.

Fever! breathe in your own cool, blue air.
    -----
Perhaps, in times of hardship, or a big decision, tension rises (fever) and as advice says to take a deep, fresh breath of air.

Look for eyes that hypnotize and sparkle.
Look for eyes that hypnotize and sparkle...everywhere.
    Brother, brother- don't you care?
    Brother, brother- don't you care?
    -----
While in his/your journey, look for the people who's eyes will captivate and amaze you. They are perhaps there to help you/be with you. In the case you are no listening/paying attention, the speaker calls you brother and asks you if you even care about his advice maybe...

    Same as before.

    -----
    Also the same.

Demon eyes. demon eyes are watching.

Like the phrase before that is very similar, the speaker is again giving advice. This time to watch for the demon eyes, the evils that will approach you. Again, as a friend/brother, do you even care about the speaker's advice/warnings.

In my opinion this is the second best song on the album right behind Thank you too! with Touch me I'm Going to Scream pt I & II tied for third. Anywho, that's what I think the song is about.

General CommentI saw this song more literally. I pictured him walking down a city street at night seeing the stop lights go from red to green. I love the "first light I see tonight" play on it. And how he sings "ooh yeah." The sparkly hypnotizing eyes are good things to behold, people you'd want to meet, and the demon eyes are bad. People you wouldn't.

But really, it doesn't matter exactly what this song is about. Because it's beautiful and time ceases to exist in the 3 minutes 35 seconds that it plays.

General CommentOh my Jim James is a clever and sneaky bastard. My case:

    dictionary.reference.com/browse/…

    Mind = blown.

Either we have just a regular walk through a town on a cold dry day or a song about two different walks, one where he's happy with the world, and the other where he's wary of the dangers of the world.
