"These Days" as written by Bradley Kirk Arnold, Matthew Darrick Roberts, Christopher Lee Henderson and Robert Todd Harrell....
I think I was better off before this all began
So clearly I can see lately that you don't know who I am
Everybody tried to tell me something that I never could believe
Staring back it seemed so much different than it did in front of me

But I know there's no good in looking back on yesterday
And wondering what could have happened then

You think you can give me what I want
You say
(You say)
You say
I think I'm better off alone
These days
(These days)
These days

Why should I put my trust in something that I never could believe
So one day you can find something better
Just to pack your things and leave
Loneliness is a friend for the moment but you won't walk out on me

But I know there's no good in looking back on yesterday
And wondering what could have happened then

You think you can give me what I want
You say
(You say)
You say
I think I'm better off alone
These days
(These days)
These days

I'm tired and I'm sick of waiting, maybe I'll die alone
'Cause I can't take another damn day of waiting here for you
To come home to me
Yeah, yeah, baby, baby please tell me why

You think you can give me what I want
You say
(You say)
You say
I think I'm better off alone
These days
(These days)
These days

You think you can give me what I want
You say
(You say)
You say
I think I'm better off alone
These days
(These days)
These days

General CommentOne of my favorite songs off of there new album. It reflects a rebirth in yourself. You're with someone who is the everything in you but she mistreats and abuses the love in the relationship. Its a struggle with the man who loves her so much but he can't stay with her anymore its too painful. He's telling her that you are not the one who will save me and I will never fall for your traps anymore. There is no point in looking at the past when it was all beautiful and mystical. Time to pick yourself up and be free from her. No pain, no deception, no doubts anymore just a new life of never being alone with her anymore

General CommentThis song is amazing and 3DD just does an impeccable job of painting the feelings we feel hide inside.

I really relate to this. It's a guy who loves this girl so much and does what he can to make the relationship go to a greater level but the feeling isn't mutual for the girl. She always says she cares about him but for her, he's just someone she uses like a ferry boat to take her across tough tides to the island where she feels she really belongs. It doesn't matter to her what he does for her even though she may say she appreciates it but her actions clearly never live up to her words. Often times than not, he feels an unrequited love. She never returns the same thoughtfulness and concern that he always gives her. Waiting for her love inundates him with a greater agony and this compels him to let go of something that is useless, because despite his efforts foresees a grim future with her.
