"Of A Broken Heart" as written by and William Patrick Corgan....
if only i die
just once in my life
if only to try
to take a guess, to be the best
a feeling i hide
that runs this world, that keeps us alive
i want you to climb with me

until i die of a broken heart
a broken heart
until i die of a broken heart
a broken heart
until i die

the heart of a child
is in your hands now
so let's see you smile
'cause i'm not impressed with your loneliness
and it's been a while
since you forgave all your changes made
so let's count the miles together

until i die of a broken heart
a broken heart
until i die of a broken heart
a broken heart
until i die of a broken heart
a broken heart
until i die

if only i die
just once in my life
if only to try together

until i die of a broken heart
a broken heart
until i die of a broken heart
a broken heart
until i die of a broken heart
a broken heart
until i die

    General Commentlove this song.

i think he's talking about his life and experiencing love.

it's worth it for him to try and love and be the best but his love is unrequited.. but he will continue to try until he passes, from a broken heart.

    maybe?

General Commenti think its about explaining a love for a friend, but then realising that you'll never be the only thing they need. for example you like a girl and she says shes lonely so you say lets be more than friends, but she says 'i like you to much i'll fuck it up and be left with nothing'

so both of you have a feeling of a broken heart because you are to scared to face the true feelings.

he is saying "If only I die Just once in my life If only to try together" -- the risk is worth it
