I never wished to be seduced
But that never seemed to stop you
With every kiss, I felt the helplessness
Hypnotizing, paralyzing me
What the hell is going on?
Is this really happening?

I think my drink is way too strong
I can't help but think that this was premeditated,
My reason's growing faded
Won't you take me in?

Lay it onto me
Every little fantasy
I'm bored enough to take whatever
When I'm lonely

Lay it onto me
Degrade the true meaning of affection
We will do it, do it gracefully

I had never heard your hungry screams
Unless you count encounters in my dreams
And here we lay, feasting on decay
Of any self respect we may have had

What the hell is going on?
Is this still happening?
I think our hearts have up and gone
Because this was

Premeditated
My reasons' growing faded
Won't you take me in?

Lay it onto me
Every little fantasy
I'm bored enough to take whatever
When I'm lonely

Lay it onto me
Degrade the true meaning of affection
We will do it, do it gracefully

Premeditated
My reasons' growing faded
Won't you take me in?

Lay it onto me
Every little fantasy
I'm bored enough to take whatever
When I'm lonely

Lay it onto me
Degrade the true meaning of affection
We will do it, do it gracefully

Sounds like a one night stand type thing, or the guys not totally into it but he's "bored enough to take whatever" and maybe he likes the girl but she just wants sex. "and we here we lay feasting on decay of when you stopped respecting me" "degrade the true meaning of affection"

I fully agree with the above comment. The song really is just to the point with the lyrics, there arent really any hidden meanings.(that I can see)

    I love this song!

But I just wanted to say that I'm pretty sure that it's "I can't help but think that this was premeditated" not 'I can never think that this was premeditated"

and also I think it's "and here we lay feasting on decay of any self respect we may have had"

    not

" and here we lay, feasting on decay, of when you stopped respecting me"

I was hoping they would play this when I saw them last weekend but they didn't :(

If the lyrics are what foxgirl said they are, then this is another really sad song. ; o; But I do love it.

Hmm I don't know about the one stand scenario. It seems more like a "friends with benefits" knda thing cuz he says "is this STILL happening".

I kinda picture it as an ex-girlfriend kinda thing.("of any self respect we may have had") Like they broke up, possibly some time ago, but she gets him to meet up wtb her, she gets some alcohol in him ("I think my drink is way too strong") and gets him to sleep with her but he doesn't really fight it since he's bored and lonely anyways. I kinda feel like this song goes hand in hand with Lust A Prima Vista.

Also I kinda think that Nick isn't really into casual sex.(not just from this song alone but from a lot of their songs) And the line "degrade the true meaning of affection" basically embodies that. And in the song Himerus and Eros: "I hope to God I mean a lttle more than the sounds that escape your tired 4 am lips. Oh how I wish I meant a little more than the symphony of heavy breathing and the friction of hips."

    Ok, enough rambling! :]

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
