"Dare4Distance" as written by and Christofer Drew....
I got the concept and came to the conclusion
That the top floor was just an illusion
To the fact that I got this break in my back
That I can't get out, I can't figure out how

You appeared right in front of me
Before you marched down South, the university
Is where you spend your daylight
We're both just waiting for this Friday night

Although the distance is daring, we both know how to drive
Oh, we can't make up for the lost times that we both apologize for
And I can't stand the fact that this extremity is the center of my day
I see where you're coming from

We've been on the same boat since day one
I see how you like to run
Back to the things that got you here, oh
Although the distance is daring, we both know how to drive

Oh, we can't make up for the lost times that we both apologize for
And I can't stand the fact that this extremity is the center of my day
You're the center of my day
Oh, Mondays I sleep away

Tuesdays I lay awake
Wednesdays they are the worst
Whoa, Thursdays I reminisce
Friday, I see your face and I can't breathe

Although the distance is daring, I sure know what it's like to be alone

General CommentNo, I don't think the girl is in college.
University is a rather large town in Missouri (Christopher Drew's home state)
So I think it says... " You appeared right in front of me, before you marched down south to University"

I'm playing a show with Chris this Saturday, I'm really excited =DDDDD

General CommentAre you sure it doesn't say 'weekends make up for the lost time'? As in the weekdays that they are not together are the lost time and weekends are when they see each other and make up for it. It could be either to be honest, both 'weekends' or 'we can't' make sense.

    Amazing song though.

General CommentGuys, if you listen closely to the version on demo-shmemo, it is clearly *Weekends*. I promise.

General CommentI think instead of "weekend" it's "we can't"

"We can't make up for the lost times that we both apologize for."

General Commentallytothemax is right, the lyrics that are up right now are wrong. it's:

we can't make up for the lost time that we both apologize for.

and for the very last line its: and I can't breathe.
    not can

I think there are more lyrics that are wrong here, but whatever.
anyways, this song is about a somewhat long distance relationship, and he's saying that even though your going to be far away I'm still going to try to see you as often as possible, and I'm willing to drive down there to come see you because I think about you all the time. they apologize to eachother because they want to spend as much time together as possible and its frusturating that they can't because of the distance and how she's really busy with college so they only really get to see eachother on Fridays (and weekends?)

General Comment"Weekend make-up for the lost time that we both apologie for"
    should be
"we can't make-up for the lost times that we both apologize for"
and at the end where you have
    "and i can breathe."
    it's "and i can't breathe"

this song is clearly about a long distance realtionship.
he's saying, yeah they're far apart but they can drive and still see eachother.
hence the "although the distance is daring, we both know how to drive."
    pretty self explanitory there.

    i may be wrong though.
either way, this song is wonderful.

General Commentall the corrections that everyone else made are right, and also:

on the album version that's on his myspace right now, after the second "that this extremity is the center of my day", he says, "you're the center of my day"

and at the end of the song after "and I can't breathe", he says, "although the distance is daring, i sure know what it's like to be alone"

General CommentAren't these the correct lyrics?
    They make more sense, lol.

I got the concept and came to the conclusion

To the fact that I got this break in my back
That I can't get out; I can't figure out how
You appeared right in front of me

But we're both just waiting for this Friday night

    Although the distance is daring
We both know how to drive, oh

We can't make up for the lost times that we both apologize for
And I can't stand the fact that this extremity is the center of my day

I see where you're coming from
We've been on the same boat since day one
