And I do anything to,
Reach my hand inside you,
Searching for the real truth,
Fall apart and grip your heart and squeeze until you tell.

Wars that we repeated,
Left us so defeated,
Marching like a soldier walking through the gates of hell.

Hearts that aren't worth mending,
Fights are never ending,
Wounds that we keep tending,
Dropping bombs and raising arms, you've got me on my knees.

About to pull the trigger,
This is so much bigger,
Gun at my head, locked and loaded, do it set me free!

Don't break my heart, I'd do anything,
and I'll take it to my grave.
Don't break my heart.
Will you celebrate,
On a day in the death of me?
Don't break my heart!

Ah, sugar, its not over,
look over your shoulder,
words are getting colder,
your mistake was my heartbreak, I told you this before.

Nothing left to say here,
everything is so clear,
the hardest punch you threw is you don't love me anymore.

Don't break my heart, I'd do anything,
and I'll take it to my grave.
Don't break my heart.
Will you celebrate,
On a day in the death of me?
Don't break my...
Don't break my heart!

Hey, Hey
Hallelujah set me free (x2)
La la la la la la la la la
Hallelujah set me free...(x2)

Don't break my heart, I'd do anything,
And I'll take it to my grave.
Don't break my heart.
Will you celebrate,
On a day in the death of me?
Don't break my heart,

I'd do anything,
and I'll take you to my grave.
Don't break my heart.
Will you celebrate,
On a day in the death of me?
Don't break my…
Don't break my…
Don't break my heart.

One more heartbeat,
Left inside me.
Can you save me from this nightmare?(x2)

General CommentPerhaps he(narrator) is about to commit suicide after finding out his lover cheated on him ? Or perhaps he is just referring to killing the relationship.
But my bet is the first one.
