"ex girlfriend syndrome" as written by and Jessica Poland....
i am a dull to your head
tracking quietly from the door
slammed it straight i yelled
"why'd i even come here?"
but still i stay for a while
check every drawer that i can find
saw your calendar on the floor
you're not very organized
are you? i said to myself
i said to myself

you should go
you should leave
please stop pulling on my sleeve

i stood there, i stood there
with a note for my head
asking what my heart said

i should not be here, ya know.
i should not be here.

i went through all your dirty laundry
even those smelly socks and underwear
where those even came from
saw everything you had lying around from your decker cards
should the way you feel about me
just laying on the ground

i said to myself
i said to myself

you should go you should leave
please stop pulling on my sleeve

i stood there, i stood there
with a note for my head
asking what my heart said

i should not be here, ya know.
i should not be here.

you should go you should leave
please stop pulling on my sleeve

i stood there, i stood there
with a note for my head
asking what my heart said

i should not be here, ya know.
i should not be here.

oh, i should not be here, ya know.
i should not be here.

    General CommentI thought it was:

"I opened the door to your head
    Tried going quietly
    But the door slammed instead
    I yelled, "Why'd I even come here?!"

and I'm pretty sure she sings, "you're not very organized, or are you?"

and I think it makes more sense as:
"with a note from my head" because it's like she's asking her heart what it thinks not her head or something

sorry, don't mean to come off being all 'that's wrong'
    that's just what I thought I heard

General Commentanyway, I think she's singing about trying to see if she still has feelings for an ex but maybe he wasn't that good for her and she thinks she shouldn't be there again or even thinking about it again

or maybe she's trying to find out about a new guy and is wondering if he really is good for her too

General CommentYea, those lyrics- yours- or right. the ones posted are really wrong and don't make sense, but some, that i couldn't decipher on my own kind of do like.
    "you should go
    you should leave
please stop pulling on my sleeve"
she sings it so fast it sounds like "Gosh-ly, looks are pulling on my sleeve"
which i thought meant his stare as she leaves makes her want to go back, but the other makes more sense.

I love this song. It means exactly what the title says. your an ex, but you don't nessacrily give him up. I know im bad at that. Still washing exes dirty laundry... its a great song.
