"Made Concrete" as written by and Kenneth Earl/mcgill Jankowski....
Tonight, I was haunted by some dreams
That we'd never run in the rain together
'Cause our feet were made concrete

And I think I could never love again
The way that I did when I was ten

Thinkin' back on fourth of July
Had you gone, had you gone too far?
Oh my, I just don't want to think twice
About the favors that you did for some other guys

Up and down the stairs jumpin'
Jumping with the ankle to distract my thinking with another kind of pain

Don't know if I could ever love again
The way that I did when I was ten

Just don't look back 'cause everything will come
Around to where it began in time

And, and
Don't believe the scientists that tell you what to think

Today I was blessed by some fond dreams
That we'd never even met in the first place
And my skin felt so clean

And I think I could never love again
The way that I loved when I was ten
Delete the memory that you've installed upon my drive

Don't know if I could ever love again
The way that I did when I was ten

Just don't look back 'cause everything will come
Around to where it began

And, and
Go on live your life and everything will fit
Into place where it belongs in time

And, and
Don't believe the scientists that tell you what to think
And, and
Don't believe the media that tells you what to breathe

General Commenti found a mistake in the lyrics.

    the correct lyrics are actually:

    "And I think I could
    Never love again
The way that I loved WHEN I WAS TEN."

    and:

"Don't know if I could love another again
The way that I loved WHEN I WAS TEN."

    and also:

    "And I think I could
    Never love again
The way that I loved WHEN I WAS TEN
With that belief you've installed upon the drive

Don't know if I could ever love another again
The way that I loved WHEN I WAS TEN
    Just don't look back
'cause everything will come around to where it began in time
    Go live your life
And everything will fit into place where it belongs
    In time"

it is not "a long time ago." but actually "when i was ten." i don't know how that couldve been mistaken for a long time ago but whatever..

Right on. an allusion to all this global warming nonsense? I hope so. What an album.

General CommentI think this song talks about how nothing is ever as good as you remember the good things in your past.
And also, not to worry so much about a relationship gone sour (or anything for that matter) because another chance for something good will come, in time.

And, of course, don't listen to others' advice on matters that mean a lot to you. Think for yourself.
